It's amazing how internet has bought such great chef and their recipes closer to common people... I mean I was only a child when I saw him on tv and now here I am learning from him..
There are many many RUclipsrs who are not chef by profession but are popular for their recipes but I think Kunal is the only professional whose recipes are not that fancy or difficult rather his recipes are mostly simple and to the point .. Also he shares recipes for simple things like shikanji aloo paratha n all.. I’ll not name any other chef but everyone knows mostly the recipes shared by popular Indian chefs are not very attracting or tasty may be because they get it into nitty gritty of every spice and flavour but we as an audience wants simple clear instructions and ingredients which we can get easily and for this Kunal I think is one of the best chef in India!!
Somehow I have not been so lucky to find a really tasty vada pav like that since a while....guess I will need to follow this delitious looking recipe to make one for myself..I remember vada from my school canteen used to have crushed garlic in it which I think enhanced it's taste even more

i like kunal he speaks like an educated person in urdu/hindi old school, thank god he doesnt ruin the the language and actually pronouces the words correctly he says phir not fir . :) But most of all i love his quick and easy style of cooking no nonsense ive made his recipes before always turns out very good:)

+1, Both ginger and garlic actually. One needs to make a coarse paste of ginger, garlic and green chilli to the aalo mix before adding turmeric and then the potatoes.

Hi Chef.. Love your recipes. You really make cooking look simple. Everytime I want to try something new, your recipe is what I look for. I just have one suggestion though... Whenever there is a batter, dough l etc involved, I would really help if you show us the consistency up close e.g. the consistency of the batter for the Vada pax... Should it be runny, thick etc...
