I was there. We were all waiting for YG to go up next. I was towards the front at the main stage. We saw the lights of ambulance and police roll up off the main Street adjacent to backstage area where the main stage was. We couldn’t hear any commotion. Everyone was waiting for the show to continue and the people running the concert never made any announcements about anything. We knew something was goin mostly because the police helicopter showed up and kept circling. Then the lights and the helicopter dipped. They started breaking down YG’s set and just playing music on shuffle it seemed like. People jumped on twitter and that’s how word in the crowd started to spread about what was going on. People were already saying he had been killed. A lot of us that found out started to leave the area because we knew the show was over while others stayed waiting. The other second stage was still going at the time when we were walking out because we could hear the music still.

I work in the business and there’s Some hella sus shit led to his death. How TF is the venue security not able to break up or even completely prevent the fight to begin with? Usually ,a show of that caliber with numerous big name artists and thousands of attendees. In order to get to the “back stage” aka “Vip area” First off you gonna need a laminated pass to get by the checkpoint(s) and there’s usually cops as well as quite a few event staff and private security witch somehow an entire mob got passed.
