- Welcome to a much requested tutorial. There is a 12 hour video I COULD make on all the neuances of this glitch but I hope this quick tutorial is able to help people get started and give people a bit more confidence in trying out this cut.

Just couple of thing I wanted to touch up on:
1. Holding down when wheeling off of the curb doesn’t affect anything, so no need to worry about this.
2. Bounces during the barrel roll result from poor first wheelie timing, not poor second wheelie timing, so if you are getting bounces, that’s likely what’s going on.
3. Holding down after the first shroom and before the clip can give slightly more distance from the high-clip which increases chances of making the glitch. Additionally, from my testing, holding down before the clip seems to give a higher chance at a 5-6 frame clip, compared to a 7-8 frame clip without holding down, which also increases clip distance. I haven’t really tested that theory that much, but that’s what I’ve noticed so far.
4. You have to almost completely hit the wall in order to get the correct respawn, the line shown at 5:18 is not remotely correct.
Thank you James.
I found myself getting more attempts at the pole with holding down as shown although maybe that was placebo. I think holding down as you wheelie there MIGHT give more leniency to that initial wheelie input? I have not tested this.
You are absolutely correct, the bounces are from when you first land from the rail, and NOT the second wheelie, my mistake. The fail I should have referenced is missing that second wheelie timing can result in you leaving the barrel roll state. I prefer to delay that second wheelie slightly to ensure the window to press it isn't missed. The timing of your (117James') second wheelie is faster when leaving the rail but the window for pressing it is much slimer, if i'm not mistaken there.
@ no problem, yes likely placebo, and yes, my 2nd wheelie timing has a much tighter window. I explained the difference of our wheelies to Carter a few days ago, so I’ll copy that here too:
My wheelies go W…..W…..W..S….W
Maniac’s go W……..W…W..S….W
There is a difference with our 2nd wheelies, but due to a more soon 3rd wheelie, our bike tilt actually becomes pretty much the same. The 2nd wheelie should just be personal preference tbh. Also, yes, there is a small window of time in between both of our 2nd wheelie timings where you can’t actually wheelie at all, which is what could make my method slightly harder.
such a good tutorial man! I really like how you explained the no-glitch driving alongside the glitch, great explanation!
Coming from a player who doesn't even need it👑
One of my biggest pet peeves in this community is that players who are good don't make the effort to help others even when asked for advice. You have my upmost respect for making the glitch as accessible to other players as possible.
my goal is this community is to be a driving force for good. Whether that's through entertaining streams, a positive outlook on the game, lowing times personally or helping others to lower their times too. I don't have time for gatekeeping strats or being negative towards others or the game. :D

What does QM mean? Quantum Mechanics?
QM, or Quantized Movement refers to the way in which the character interacts with the track beyond human control. The character's hitbox is determined by the game at the sub-pixel level meaning even if a human was to do the exact same inputs on two seperate runs, the exact position of the character would be different. QM is also often refered to as 'Human RNG' as there is no way to control it.
Source: me, just now with a very basic knowledge. Hope this helps.
