I have that model( unbuilt) and the Burton Island model (built) . I was wondering if you could RC the Eastwind or not. I would like to know what he used to power it and if he added any weight to get it to the waterline.

i have asked before about what motors were used and unfortunatly all Peter remembers is that he was given a numer of small motors from a friend, not sure if they are marked in any way. I dont remember seeing any weight added. There are a number of Peters RC converted models on this channel and a number by Tony Dalton who builds RC to similar scale ruclips.net/p/PLQLHAHvT8w3UlfQvpDzhAJ8w3exthSkrQ

@@rcmodelwarships6893 Thanks for the reply! I have the plans for the Wind class in 1/96 scale and some commissioning photos so they will help if I decide to Rc the model.
