Very informative vlog. Usually the imported stuff are way more expensive in Saudi. The Saudi made stuff have similar prices to the UK. I think it would be the same in UK for the imported items from Saudi
You should try to go to Lulu Hypermarket Al Yasmin. I think that’s quite near to where you live. They have more varieties, especially imported goods and more offers compared to Panda. For toothpaste & stuff can try “outlet pharmacy” or similar places like that.
There is an important note need to be considered Some of the products from outside Saudi and it make sense it’s expensive like the frozen chips, the cereal and the biscuits There are local products cheaper 👍
It really depends on your lifestyle, so it’s tough to give a specific number. But if you want to live comfortably and have some money for spending, investing, and entertainment, I’d say you’d need at least 20,000 riyals. That’s just my take, others might get by with less.
But I know some people who live comfortably with way less but they don’t live in Riyadh 😂 Riyadh is cost of living is same as the average western city Way cheaper than London and NY/ California But almost all of Saudi cities are way cheaper then Riyadh especially when it comes to rent
panda market is a bit expansive even for me, if you're looking for meat and vegetables try going to the local produce market you can find it everywhere it's alot cheaper and try The Economic Hall market for good offers on everything else. I hope you have a wonderful stay
However, the average salary in Saudi Arabia is higher than in the UK, so it's important to consider other perspectives when making comparisons. Enjoy your stay ❤
Im in UK right now and using Tesco express almost every day, prices are double the ones you are showing!
I believe prices in Saudi Arabia are more reasonable compared to the UK, especially considering that there’s no income tax in Saudi Arabia.
If you want cheaper prices, go to Al Rabwa Vegetable Market. The supermarket is expensive. You should know where to shop.
Panda is one of the cheapest. Nesto maybe cheaper on other things. The more expensive ones are Farmshop, Tamimis. With Danube being the most expensive
