I would give myself to Jesus, but I don't fancy the notion of spending the rest of eternity, "saved alive" Ge 12: 12, "in the sepulcher of the man of God" 2 Ki 23: 17, wherein "thou shalt call thy walls salvation," Isa 60:1, and thou art "Apprehended of Christ Ph’p 3: 12, Prisoner of Christ Ph’m 1: 9, my fellowprisoner in Christ Jesus; Ph’m 23, hence "Truly in vain is salvation hoped for" Jer 3: 23, whereas "He who seeks to save his life shall lose it" Lu 9: 24,17: 33. M’r 8: 33, wherefore "ye be dead with Christ Col 2: 20; to wit: "We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement:" Isa 28: 15; and sometime thereafter "Thou shalt be brought down to hell" Isa 14: 15; “for no man hath ascended into heaven” Jo 3: 13.
But don’t worry they say, you will be “redeemed”(taken/gotten), “saved alive” “in heaven” (up upon a cloud with God, whereupon everyone has white robes, wings and halo’s, and live happily ever after eating yogurt with the Yoplait Lady), up/in/down there, God promises “thou shalt cry no more”, there will be no pain, no hunger, no thirst, sickness or diseases, right?
Right, you will never again reincarnate, and therefore will not have a body to experience any of those associated symptoms; because no more body = no more eyes, thus no more crying, no more pain, no more hunger, no more thirst, no more disease, no tasting yogurt, ever again; cuz aint no yogurt up/in/down there: "Whereas I have rewarded thee evil" I Sa 24: 17, "This evil is of the LORD" II Ki 6: 33, "The evil that the LORD had brought" Job 42: 11, "Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon them," Jer 11: 11; 23: 12; 49: 37, "Therefore shall evil come upon thee" Isa 47: 11, thus "the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think he doeth God service." Joh 16: 2
What ? Shall we receive good at the hand of God, and not receive evil ? Job 2: 10

You are not saved just yet (lucky you). You will know when you are saved, when you are "Apprehended of Christ Ph’p 3: 12, "Prisoner of Christ" Ph’m 1: 9 and you realize you will be spending the rest of eternity, "saved alive" Jer 49: 11, "in the sepulcher of the man of God" 2 Ki 23: 17, wherein "thou shalt call thy walls salvation," Isa 60:1.
"Truly in vain is salvation hoped for" Jer 3: 23, whereas "He who seeks to save his life shall lose it" Lu 9: 24,17: 33. M’r 8: 33.

Ä´-mĕn? "The unlearned say Amen at thy giving of thanks, seeing he understandeth not what thou sayest” I Co14: 16“.
WHAT? ARE YE WARSHIPPING AN IDOL?

To answer that question, we can rely on the Maxim of Law “He who writes interprets”, in other words, if the Bible says a word means this, then It means what the Bible says, not what the reader hopes it means, wants it to mean, or was told it means by whoever.
As a rule, in any legal document, which “The Book of the Law” is De 29: 21, the first time a word is defined it is understood to mean the same thing throughout the entire document.
In this case we are analyzing Ä´-mĕn, and the question is: Is it a word or a name? Thus we turn to Numbers 5: 22 wherein Ä´-mĕn first appears: “and the woman shall say, Ä´-mĕn, amen.”, there it is written as a “name”, it’s designation as a name is substantiated in many KJV Bibles which state “All the proper names are divided into syllables by a hyphen (-), with the accent placed upon the syllable to which it belongs ( ´ ), and vowels marked to show what sound they should receive (ĕ)”. Indeed Amen is written in that fashion, and remains in the scriptures in its untranslated form, of course, names need no translation.
Now that we have established that Ä´-mĕn is a name, the question becomes Who is Ä´-mĕn?
Again, the same Maxim of Law applies, thus we examine the reign of Amenhetep II, and Tutmoses III “1491-1451 BCE, when some of the first books of the Bible were written by Moses1], and when Amen was a name identified with Amen Ra, supreme Egyptian God, the Sun God2]. (Amen-hetep and Tet/Tut-moses. (coincidence no doubt)
Moses was a Horite Hebrew (worshiper of the Sun God Horus) Ge. 36: 20-29,1 Ch 1: 38-42, educated at Heliopolis3], City of the Sun God Ra4], and where Amenism (worship of Amen as God of Gods of the Egyptian Pantheon) was in full swing at the time5].
According to the aforementioned historical facts, we can surmise that the Amen Moses refers to in Nu 5: 22 was Amen Ra, but to be sure, we could compare the attributes and titles of Amen Ra with those of God in the Bible, but wait a minute,, Jesus is God of the Bible? Well yes It is, thus we must include the attributes and titles of Jesus in our comparison as well.
In the Egyptian Religion Amen appears in the XII dynasty as “Son of the Sun”, Son of the Sun God Ra6], Jesus is likewise the “Son of God”, his titles include ”The Sun of Righteousness” Mal 4: 2, “The Amen” Re 3: 14, “The Truth” Jno 14: 6: In Isa 65: 16 Amen is translated as “the God of truth” 7] and is represented by the capitalized “Verily”, “Truly”, and “Surely”, to confirm that, the Catholic Bible uses Amen amen in many places where Verily verily is used in the KJV. Jesus Christ! “God in him, and in him Amen” II Co 1: 20.
Like Amen of the Bible, some chief titles of Amen Ra were “Lord of the Thrones of the Two Lands” Ro 14: 9(Land of the living, land of the dead); “God of Gods” De 10: 17, Ps 136: 2, Da 2: 47; “King of the Gods” Ro 10: 12, 2 Ch 2: 5,“I am the LORD thy God from the land of Egypt” Ho 12: 9. Nu 5: 22 also shows us a clear distinction between the name Amen, and the word amen in all lower case, which means “so be it; let it be; praise, assent, approve, worship or other formal statement to express solemn ratification or agreement: also an acknowledgement of oath or curse; Egyptian Hieroglyphs concur with that designation, wherein the word amen in lower case is symbolized by a man praying and a man hiding. Whereas the capitalized Amen is the name of a God8]
How can it be that Amen Ra and Jesus share the same attributes and titles? Because they are one and the same God, in a different body, at different times, yet the same spirit of the God, in the body of a man called Jesus; this is evidenced in Jesus’ own words -“Jesus said to them, “before Abraham came to be, I am.” Joh 8: 58. Abraham was made or “came to be”/ “begotten from the dead” circa 1900 BC., long before Jesus the man was.
Another substantial fact is that Amen/Amon Ra is listed in many in Bible Dictionaries, thus logic dictates that if Amen Ra had nothing to do with the Bible, It would not be in there.
One of the most extensive Bible dictionaries “The Interpreters Dictionary of the Bible” goes to the trouble of listing Osiris, which is not even mentioned once in the Bible.
To top it all off, The Amen is the “Testator” of both the Old and New TestAment He 9: 17 and is the object of your Idolatrous Worship, hence one of Jesus’ titles being “The Testator or Covenator”9], because they are one and the same; to wit, Like any Last Will and Testament, the testator signs off at the end, just like Amen does in Re 20: 21. Behold! Amen signs off on many of the books as well.
Moreover, since Jesus is Amen, Amen is Amen Ra, and Amen Ra is depicted as “The Idol” in Bible Dictionaries10], and the definition of Idolatry shown the Bible is - “The worship of something seen as representing the unseen”[11]; then if “God is a spirit” John 4: 24 (which is the unseen), and Jesus (according to his titles) is “God manifest in the flesh” 1 Ti 3: 16, and “The Image of the Invisible God” Col 1: 15 [10](what is seen and worshipped), thereby the qualifications for Idolatry are satisfied.
“Ä´-mĕn, amen, I say unto you”, because It is what you war-ship.

Let me see if I get this right: You are saying that because of your faith, your intellectual prowess has stagnated at an infantile level? A level which obviously does not permit you to know what "in Christ" and or Ä´-mĕn actually mean. Wow!!! Thank goodness I have not adhered myself to such and ironic and erroneous belief !

Yes, that someone was right, that same prophetic saying seems to apply to you and your infantile like understanding of what words mean in the Bible.
In your single brief comment, you misinterpret a name, two terms, and three words.
In a nutshell, this verse sums up your disposition:
"Ye worship ye know not what:" Joh 4: 22

    *Lyrics:*
I gave my life to Jesus about a thousand times,
At teenage shrines of rare experience,
They’d blare Delirious then dare obedience,
I’d swear allegiance, soul-bared and serious,
Each prayer more daring than the previous.
On stage, the preacher saw we staunch hard core,
who flocked to the fore to knock, knock, knock on heaven’s door.
He claimed salvations like he was keeping score.
Yet none were sure but he . . .
And none doubted more than me.
So I prayed again, to firm cement it,
Making sure I really meant it.
Vowed my life to be amended,
Willed my all to dust descended,
Gave my heart to be expended.
Then when all my prayers were ended . . .
    Nothing, but my self lamented . . . .
Oh I pretended all was mended and extended lifted hands
But within I could not understand:
    What more could he demand?
I gave my life to Jesus a thousand different ways,
No single day would pass without this act.
I would contract to yield my every part,
To make one more fresh start,
    To be more set apart,
And in return I’d yearn for him to impart the merest trace
    of grace into my heart.
I gave my life to Jesus, though faith continued flagging,
though doubts were ever nagging, zeal sagging
    dragging down to duty’s basement.
But at least I had my bracelet!
O dear bracelet, give me strength anew.
The bracelet counseled: What Would Jesus Do?
And to answer all I could think was that he would sink
to his knees in passioned pleas,
    like at Gethsemane.
    And with almighty self-surrender,
there he rendered all to God who, silent, let him fall.
    So what should I do?
I too would heed that call,
and likewise sprawl before the Splendor.
    This crawl became my pattern,
each new day I’d flatten self
before the Lord, pressed down to gain reward
that never came. But all the same I’d call.
And all the while the preachers told me,
“Give control, not part, but wholly,
Give your heart, your life, your all.”
    But rarely do I recall
Being told what he gave-my Lord-to save.
Except . . . they slipped it in . . . to conscript us they gripped us
With “Jesus whipped, our Savior stripped,
the blood it dripped from the cross,” but they ripped it from it’s gospel frame
To say, “Now you. You do the same.”
And thus Christ’s offering was flipped, we were guilt tripped
by the very act that saved us.
    So it was engraved, instilled:
The cross was a standard unfulfilled by us.
Oh but we’d try, my how we’d try, we’d bow the knee and bear the load,
It was the very least we owed.
I gave my life to Jesus . . . but somewhere down the road I slid,
my faith undid even amid my church, my prayers,
even as I bid for heaven’s care,
beneath the lid, the venom hid.
I was your youth group’s keenest kid,
But no one hated God more than I did.
With him it’s just take, take, take, there’s no break,
His thirst for blood who can slake?
At least vampires get you just once,
But this God held perpetual hunts.
I gave my life to Jesus but I guess it was no good.
I did what I could to appease him,
    but no pleasing seemed probable,
So this elder brother turned prodigal.
And I could chronicle the years headed east.
    A far country unpoliced,
It was a famine disguised as a feast,
A pigsty passed off as release.
But there. . . at the end of the track, with life out of whack, when all was pitch black . . .
    There-what brought me back?
    This Book.
Cuz this Book, as I read, didn’t say what they said,
To those with bowed heads, under piety’s dread, by their leaders misled,
This said: repent and believe the good news.
The kingdom of God is at hand.
There he stands in your stead,
    your King lifts your head,
    He has shouldered your dread,
    arms outstretched till they bled.
As I read, I met him: the Father’s sheer Gift,
now offered to lift those who are cowering,
    The feeble empowering,
    The filthy clean showering,
the lowly now towering in him.
So that night on his knees? Gethsemane’s pleas?
Those prayers they were said for me.
    Cuz I am not Jesus there in the garden, begging for pardon;
    I’m Peter.
    And despite all my boasts, I’m asleep at my post;
And Jesus does it all for me.
You want to give Jesus your life? Talk about cart before horse.
Can we resource the Source who flows like a river?
He is the Giver and we just receive-that’s what it means to believe.
So I’ll leave an appeal. To the preachers who feel
that they must stir up zeal: Then let it be his we reveal.
    You say, “Give your heart.”
This says, “Christ is the donor.”
    You say, “Yield your life.”
This says, “He was always the owner.”
    You say, “Get on fire.”
This says, “You are the Light.”
You say, “Keep running to God.”
    This says, “Walk in Christ.”
You say, “Dare to be a missional, intentional, incarnational, contextualized, no-compromise, countercultural, radical, red-letter, fully devoted disciple.”
    This says, “Follow.”
You say, “Get hungry for God.”
    This says, “Take, eat, swallow.”
    You say, “Press into God.”
This says, “You’re hidden in Christ”
    You say, “Be a world-changer.”
This says, “Lead a quiet life.”
    You say, “Surrender all.”
This says, “You’re not your own.”
You say, “Step up to the plate.”
This says, “You’re raised to the throne.”
    You say, “Burn out.”
    This says, “Shine.”
You say, “Work hard on your personal relationship with Jesus.”
This says, “I am my beloved’s and he is mine.”
Folks, look at the Book and unhook from this wearisome, will-driven view
Stop giving your life to Jesus; he’s the Giver delivered for you.

Hi Jazlyn, the good news is that Christ has given himself for you. Dont look to yourself and your faith (or lack of it). Look to Christ and his love (the fullness of it!). That's why church is so helpful - it's a reminder of Christ and his goodness. That's what draws faith out of our hearts.
Let me put it this way... if I told you I have a brilliant car mechanic and you should use him, you wouldn't say "I wish I had your faith in your car mechanic", you'd say "I wish I had your mechanic." It's not so much *faith* in Jesus that we need, it's Jesus. And that's why we hear from his word and surround ourselves with the encouragements of brothers and sisters, because they remind us of Christ. And *he* draws faith out of us.

Hey Magaretha, the good news is that Jesus has lived for you. And died for you. And risen for you. And he is praying for you right now. Your position with God does not depend on your life but on Christ's life. And he is unimprovably close to God. Are you involved in a good church? I find that having other brothers and sisters around me, cheering me on, helps me to realise that my Christian life is not about me. I don't have to climb. I'm held.

Ä´-mĕn? "The unlearned say Amen at thy giving of thanks, seeing he understandeth not what thou sayest” I Co14: 16“. "Ye worship ye know not what:" Joh 4: 22.

In this case we are analyzing Ä´-mĕn, is it a word or a name?
Another coincidence no doubt)
Like Amen of the Bible, some chief titles of Amen Ra were “Lord of the Thrones of the Two Lands” Ro 14:9(Land of the living, land of the dead); “God of Gods” De 10:17, Ps 136: 2, Da 2: 47; “King of the Gods” Ro 10: 12, 2 Ch 2: 5,“I am the LORD thy God from the land of Egypt” Ho 12: 9.
Moreover, since Jesus is Amen, Amen is Amen Ra, and Amen Ra is depicted as “The Idol” in Bible Dictionaries10], and the definition of Idolatry shown the Bible is - “The worship of something seen as representing the unseen”[11]; then if “God is a spirit” John 4: 24 (which is the unseen), and Jesus (according to his titles) is “God manifest in the flesh” 1 Ti 3: 16, and “The Image of the Invisible God” Col 1: 15 [11](what is seen and worshipped), thereby the qualifications for Idolatry are satisfied.
“Ä´-mĕn, amen, I say unto you”, because It is what you war-ship.

Giving your life to Christ is something that you should do AFTER you are saved; however, salvation is Christ giving His life to you the moment you trust in Him alone as your Savior. Salvation is not some kind of cooperative effort. It's a FREE GIFT that is received by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone. Jesus Christ died on the cross to pay our sin debt in full, was buried, and came back from the dead (1 Cor. 15:3-4). All we must do to be saved is to trust that His death and shed blood is sufficient on our behalf. The moment we do that, God declares us perfectly righteous, and we are guaranteed to go to heaven when we die. "But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness" (Rom. 4:5).

I would give myself to Jesus, but I don't fancy the notion of spending the rest of eternity, "saved alive" Jer 49: 11, "in the sepulcher of the man of God" 2 Ki 23: 17, wherein "thou shalt call thy walls salvation," Isa 60:1, and thou art "Apprehended of Christ Ph’p 3: 12, Prisoner of Christ Ph’m 1: 9, my fellowprisoner in Christ Jesus; Ph’m 23, hence "Truly in vain is salvation hoped for" Jer 3: 23, whereas "He who seeks to save his life shall lose it" Lu 9: 24,17: 33.
    Ä-mĕn that, and Hellallayouya!!!
But wait,,, Is there no "rebirth" for me? Will I not be "reborn", "born again", "born anew", maybe reincarnated? Ahh,,, no, since those words do not occur even once in the Bible we can surmise the book is not about you getting anything like that, as a matter of fact, the book does not even allude to you having any form of existence such as the one you currently enjoy, well, save ressurection, but the only ones getting ressurected are Jesus and Lazarus, the closest you get to that is "a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead," in 1 Pe 1:3, and "unto the resurrection of damnation." in Joh 5:29. On the other hand, you getting destroyed, killed, slaughtered, terminated, extinct, occurs countless times, too many to even mention.
But "don’t worry" the weak of mind hoplessly indoctrinated blind faith believers say, you will be “redeemed”(taken/gotten), “saved alive” “in heaven” (up upon a cloud with God, whereupon everyone has white robes, wings and halo’s, and live happily ever after eating yogurt with the Yoplait Lady), up/in/down there, God promises “thou shalt cry no more”, there will be no pain, no hunger, no thirst, sickness or diseases, right?
Right, you will never again reincarnate, and therefore will not have a body to experience any of those associated symptoms; because no more body = no more eyes, thus no more crying, no more pain, no more hunger, no more thirst, no more disease, no tasting yogurt, ever again; cuz aint no yogurt up/in/down there: "Whereas I have rewarded thee evil" I Sa 24: 17, "This evil is of the LORD" II Ki 6: 33, "The evil that the LORD had brought" Job 42: 11, "Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon them," Jer 11: 11; 23: 12; 49: 37, "Therefore shall evil come upon thee" Isa 47: 11, "So shall the LORD bring upon you all evil things, until he have destroyed you" Jos 23: 15, therefore "the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think he doeth God service." Joh 16: 2
What ? Shall we receive good at the hand of God, and not receive evil ? Job 2: 10
"Ye worship ye know not what:" Joh 4:22, “God in whom thou trustest deceive thee.” 2 Ki 19:10

Sorry but there's a lot wrong with this video actually... can't say I agree with it. I think he means well, but it's simply unbiblical and an inaccurate representation of what he quotes the Bible saying.
He says, "as I read this book did not say what they said..."
Then says "the book says 'repent and believe the good news...'"
He seems to not understand what repent means.
He uses it as if he said, "just believe the good news..."
He lists off things "they say...." and then "but the Bible says...." but all awhile he is listing things the Bible says when quoting what "they" say. This simply makes no sense and is ultimately really confusing and doctrinally unsound.
It has a nice rhythm though, background synthesizer, eyebrow movements, voice inflections, background bokeh and a duct taped Bible to produce in some the feelsies.
"You say 'give your heart'. This says 'Christ is the donor.'"
Both are true - we are to be a living sacrifice fully consecrated to God.
"You say 'yield your life'. This says 'He was always the owner.'"
Both are true. We acknowledge that we were bought with a price and our lives are not our own and we yield to Him.
He is turning things into opposites which are not opposites at all.
"This says 'get on fire'. This says 'you are the light.'"
We are to stir up the gift within us and to return to our first love. We are to pray fervently. And yes, we are the light - but to let our light shine we might wanna kindle that flame.
"You say 'keep running to God'. This says 'walk in Christ.'"
I am totally baffled as to why someone shouldn't run to God - our strong tower, our refuge and strength! And I see no reason why someone can't run to God and walk in Christ at the same time.
"You say 'Dare to be a missional, intentional, incarnational, contextualised, no-compromise, counter-cultural, radical, red-letter, fully-devoted, disciple'. This says 'Follow.'
How are these in any way in conflict (except maybe the red-letter part)? I think it's a shame this man is teaching in front of so many people.
"You say 'get hungry for God'. This says 'take eat and swallow.'"
    What? Are these opposites?
"You say 'press into God'. This says 'you're hidden in Christ."
Pressing into God is knowing that you're hidden in Christ and seeking Him with that mindset first and foremost.
"You say 'be a world changer'. This says 'lead a quiet life.'"
*what is happeningggggg??? He's not being very quieeeeeet.
Can someone please tell him the kids are sleeping?
"You say 'surrender all'. This says 'you're not your own.'"
    Okay...I give up.
He also criticizes a lot of what he did as a younger Christian, when there was actually nothing wrong with it. Like "gave my heart to be expended...." Or, "I yearn for Him to impart the merest trace of grace into my heart..." as if that was a bad thing. So strange.
Sounds like He was just trusting too much in his feelings and introspection of himself as opposed to praying, yearning and waiting on God - which mind you ultimately answered his prayers as we can see He came back to Him and began resting in the Gospel (it seems).
I think he has misinterpreted his own past experiences.
It is not ripping the Gospel from it's frame to say "Jesus bled and died and now you do the same." Jesus Himself said if we wish to follow Him we MUST take up our cross and follow Him.
"We were guilt tripped by the very act that saved us..."
Ummmm, we should feel guilty for the cross. We are guilty. ....but there is abundant grace to free us from all guilt and shame.
What is this guy even preaching?
He describes God as a vampire perpetually sucking...
There was no joy in His service to God - sounds like his heart was not yet transformed.
"I did what I could to appease Him but no pleasing seemed possible."
Sounds like he just wasn't hearing the Gospel. He probably heard it but he wasn't actively believing and resting in it and was doing what any of us do by default, try to earn God's love and salvation.
It's good that HE is taking the focus off Himself and His own strivings and onto Christ's finished work, but the way he is trying to communicate that is not helpful and an irresponsible handling of Scripture.

Hey! In response to what you said, I didn't find it to be that way. I understand your points, and do think he was trying to work his way to God until he found rest reading his Bible, but I think he's pointing out the evangelical emphasis on piety that's misleading tons of modern christians. What he is referring to is very similar to two theological books I've read, "Ordinary," by Michael Horton, and "The Whole Christ," by Sinclair Ferguson. He would be categorized in his rebel phase as an antimonian, whereas he was formerly a legalist in his hands raising middle school phase. He found the gospel on his own, and could pinpoint the legalistic tendencies in the evangelical church because of his own distorted view of the gospel, which I think was a fruit of what was being emphasized in his youth group, works over grace. His begging as he gave his life over and over shows he was genuinely searching, he just wasn't understanding it very well. I think the evangelical church does suffer from a skin deep theology, and it shows its fruits in a lot of high school teens giving their life to Jesus tons of times, demonstrating they are not being taught and therefore understanding the gospel well. That's a teaching and church body issue, impacting the way saved people understand Christ's nature. That trickles when you have maybe 2 pastors and 80 teens. The likelihood all the students will be taught well is slim.

These are good points you both bring up. It makes me want to pray for those searching for Christ. That they never give up on finding Him. The gift of Christ is so precious and great is the mystery of Godliness. But thankfully, God draws close to humble hearts.
I love this poem because many would have given up on salvation, in fact, I know many who have. But this man was able to receive grace in a way that fed his soul. I do not agree with every thing he says but I know for a fact that Christ leads and guides and the Holy Spirit teaches us. We can trust that as long as each of us remain humble and teachable, we will end up with Him for eternity 🙏🏾 May our Father bless you both in Jesus’ name!

The 'you say' verses exist in a literal interpretation of each verse, but taken in context they are not exactly what they say. There is far more grace and compassion for those who repent and come willingly to God than what the 'you say' verses at first glance indicate. You can cherry pick the bible to support any argument you like virtually. The key is to understand what the Hebrew and Greek stated and what they meant not just in context of the time and situation they were written in but also in context with the Bible itself.

I was an agnostic for most of my life. When I was 17, I started searching for the truth regarding God and whether or not he existed. I researched Atheism, Christianity, and Islam as well as learning of a few others for about 6 months. By the end the conclusion was clear: Jesus Christ is the only truth. I only ask that as you read the remainder of this comment, please have an open mind and allow me to share with you a piece of evidence:
In my view the strongest piece of evidence is Jesus' resurrection.
Jesus' existence is a historically established fact. Even non-Christian scholars agree on this. We actually have 12 distinct extra-biblical sources from the time period of Christianity's earliest days to confirm this, both Roman and Jewish (one of which I’ll quote at the end of this reply). They were against Christianity, yet their sources give credence to the existence of its central figure. As such, the Christ-Myth theory is complete rubbish and no serious historical scholar takes it seriously. The historical consensus is that Jesus did indeed exist.
The proof of The Christian God hinges mainly on the resurrection. In order to prove this we need to establish a) Jesus was indeed dead and b) he was alive again later. One of the gospel writers was also one of Jesus' 12 apostles, John. He was present at the crucifixion. He describes the stabbing of Jesus lung as a sudden outflow of blood and then water - this is exactly how an uneducated laymen would describe the rupturing of the pericardial sac, giving credence that his death was authentic. The Romans too were very thorough in their executions, which is why they stabbed Jesus to make sure he was dead. Jesus could not have faked it. Non-Christian scholars agree that he indeed died on the cross. To quote a JEWISH scholar - Pinchas Lapide: ''Jesus' death by crucifixion is historically certain.'' The MUSLIM Scholar Reza Aslan said: “Islam doesn’t believe that Jesus was crucified. Jesus was most definitely crucified.” The ATHEIST scholar Gerd Ludemann: “Jesus’ death as a consequence of crucifixion is indisputable.” Another JEW, Paula Fredriksen says: “The single most solid fact about Jesus’ life is his death”. Even Bart Ehrman, arguably the most well-known ATHEIST critic of the scriptures says: “One of the most CERTAIN FACTS OF HISTORY is that Jesus was crucified on orders of the Roman prefect of Judea, Pontius Pilate.”
Historians agree that the tomb was indeed empty, for various reasons. The belief in Christ's resurrection is dated soon after his death. To quote James DG Dunn, speaking on the resurrection: "This tradition we can be entirely confident was formulated within months of Jesus' death." If the tomb wasn't empty then the Jews and Romans, noticing the fast spread of early Christianity, would have either removed the body and hung it at the city gates (in the case of the Romans) or encouraged the early Christians and the Jews around them to take a look at the body in the tomb. But this didn't happen, because the tomb did not have Jesus in it.
Secondly, Jesus' tomb was first discovered empty by women. Women were viewed very lowly in first-century Palestine (First-century Jewish scholar Josephus wrote that the testimony of a woman could not be trusted, the predominant attitude among the Palestinian men at the time under the false guise that they were naturally mentally inferior). Yet the gospels, and in particular the gospel of Luke (whom archaeologist Sir William Ramsay said: "should be placed along with the very greatest of historians'') attributes a woman as the first witnesses. If Christ's resurrection were false and the early Christians wanted the people of their day to believe he was risen, they would have attributed the initial witness of Christ's resurrection to a man. The reason they didn't is because they wanted to record as accurately as possible the events that occurred - the true resurrection of Jesus.
Historically, the Jews circulated the story that Jesus' disciples had stolen the body. This was not only addressed in the gospel of Matthew, but in the second century Justin Martyr recorded that it was still being circulated in his day! There would be no need had the tomb not been empty.
But the disciples could not possibly have stolen the body. Pontius Pilate sent out a detachment of Roman soldiers who took shifts day and night guarding the tomb, so as to prevent anyone from stealing the body. A Roman guard was a group consisting of 10 to 30 soldiers. They took shifts day and night, so there was never a time in the days before Jesus' resurrection that the tomb was never being watched - they would have seen the disciples approach. Even if they were asleep the stone, weighing about 3 or 4 thousand pounds would have needed to be pushed by multiple of Jesus' followers to have a chance of being moved; so they would have been seen, heard struggling and the heavy stone heard moving, arrested and killed. This did not happen. This leaves us with the fact that the disappearance of Jesus' body from the tomb could not have happened from an outside source coming in. It had to have happened on the inside, where only the dead Jesus lay. Hence, we can conclude he was resurrected.
Giving further credence to this is that 10 of the 11 remaining (after Judas' betrayal) disciples were executed because of their Christian faith, as attested confidently by historical sources. To quote Sean McDowell of Peter: ''The early, consistent and unanimous testimony is that Peter died as a martyr;" and of the martyrdom of the disciples as a whole: "It shows the depth of the apostles’ convictions. They were not liars. They truly believed Jesus rose from the grave and they were willing to give their lives for it." They needed only to deny their faith to be saved, but did not. Would you seriously die for something that you know wasn't true? These men died fully believing in their contact with the risen Christ.
Some have theorised that they merely had hallucinations, but this isn't true for 4 reasons:
      1) The theory does not explain the empty tomb
      2) Multiple people shared in group-visions of Jesus
      3) They had group-conversations with the risen Christ
      4) They touched Jesus and ate with him, which is impossible with a hallucination. The gospel of John speaks of Thomas physically touching Jesus' wounds to prove to himself he was real!
Another evidence was Paul's conversion. Luke (as said, a first-rate historian) records in the Book of Acts that Paul persecuted the early church before being converted after seeing and talking with the risen Jesus on the road to Damascus. This was also confirmed by Paul in his own letters, in which he also expresses his deep remorse at persecuting God's church, saying he doesn't even consider himself worthy as an apostle after the way he persecuted early Christians (see 1 Corinthians 15:9). He hated them, then he became arguably their most influential apostle. Historians report that he too was martyred for his faith. This would not have happened had he not encountered the risen Jesus.
In one of Paul's letters to the church in the early days of Christianity, First Corinthians (Chapter 15 for reference), he speaks of Christ's post-resurrection appearances to people (over 500 in total), even encouraging the Corinthian church, if they don't take his word for it, to speak to the people who saw the risen Jesus if they don't believe - that they may have mental assurance of his resurrection. If the resurrection was something he and the other apostles made up he would not encourage believers to speak to people who could discredit the apostle's claims.
And consider this, that the someone did not just sit down and write the bible. 4 independently written narrative sources (the gospels) and even more letters from different authors such as Paul and Peter, are consistent on this fact of Jesus' resurrection - with secular sources testifying of the earliest Christians' convictions of the resurrection as a fact - to the point they died for their beliefs.
If we take all of these together it becomes clear that Jesus rose from the dead, which would be impossible unless it was a miracle of God. Please consider this, and may The Lord show you the way my friend. Amen.
SOURCE: Reporting on Emperor Nero's decision to blame the Christians for the fire that had destroyed Rome in A.D. 64, the Roman historian Tacitus wrote:
“Nero fastened the guilt ... on a class hated for their abominations, called Christians by the populace. Christus, from whom the name had its origin, suffered the extreme penalty during the reign of Tiberius at the hands of ... Pontius Pilatus, and a most mischievous superstition, thus checked for the moment, again broke out not only in Judaea, the first source of the evil, but even in Rome”
What can we learn from this ancient reference to Jesus and the early Christians? Notice, first, that Tacitus reports Christians derived their name from a historical person called Christus (from the Latin), or Christ. He is said to have "suffered the extreme penalty," obviously alluding to the Roman method of execution known as crucifixion. This is said to have occurred during the reign of Tiberius and by the sentence of Pontius Pilatus. This confirms much of what the Gospels tell us about the death of Jesus.. . .. . .

When you read about Jesus in the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John) with a yielded heart, you may be blessed to grasp the free gift of salvation. God is drawn to a humble heart and loves you so much. Even with your skepticism, He loves you. Jesus loves you so much. You are knocking at the door of salvation and soon He will open it.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him (last body God) and without him was not any thing made that was made.In him was life; and the life was the light of men And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. The same came (the same with God, LOGOS) for a witness, to bear witness of the Light (Logos came to be a witness)
that all men through him (LOGOS) might believe.( believe what?)
He (LOGOS) was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light That was the true Light
(Jesus represents the Logos to bear witness of the True light. Remember we need two to bear witness)
which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. He (the True Light ) was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. despised and rejected. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
(If you remove the bracketed script which talkes about Gods glory which is seen in Jesus, you will see grace and truth, and just like became flesh and dwelt with us, we have two different time frames, we were always under grace until we receive Him through baptism)
(When did the word become flesh? In the beginning. When did he dwell with us? During baptism)
John bare witness of him (second witness to the True Light, the Father dwelling in Jesus), and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me. And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. ( As the Spirit that dwells in Him)
No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.
(Jesus came to declare the Father so we may believe. John 17)
The bible is a Father Son relationship.... we are His Children, and God dwells in you.... you are gods who can look upon yourself and judge what is good or not. Jesus taught us how to connect to the Father and know how He would help you make that judgement. Only God is good, He is the only one we look up to as a child looks up to his father, yet even your earthy father is not your father, for we only have one... who art in Heaven.

Meanwhile,,,, ARE YE WARSHIPPING AN IDOL?

To answer that question, we can rely on the Maxim of Law “He who writes interprets”, in other words, if the Bible says a word means this, then It means what the Bible says, not what the reader hopes it means, wants it mean, or was told it means by whoever.
As a rule, in any legal document, which “The Book of the Law” is De 29:21, the first time a word is defined it is understood to mean the same thing throughout the entire document.
In this case we are analyzing Ä´-mĕn; is it a word or a name? Thus we turn to Numbers 5: 22 wherein Ä´-mĕn first appears: “and the woman shall say, Ä´-mĕn, amen.”, there it is written as a “name” and a word; it’s designation as a name is substantiated in many KJV Bibles which state “All the proper names are divided into syllables by a hyphen (-), with the accent placed upon the syllable to which it belongs ( ´ ), and vowels marked to show what sound they should receive”, Indeed Amen is written in that fashion, and remains in the scriptures in its untranslated form, of course, names need no translation.
Now that we have established that Ä´-mĕn is a name, the question becomes Who is Ä´-mĕn?
Again, the same Maxim of Law applies, thus we examine the reign of Amenhetep II, and Tutmoses III “1491-1451 BCE, when some of the first books of the Bible were written by Moses1, and when Amen was a name identified with Amen Ra, supreme Egyptian God, the Sun God2. (Amen-hetep and Tet/Tut-moses. Another coincidence no doubt)
Moses was a Horite Hebrew (worshiper of the Sun God Horus) Ge. 36:20-29,1 Ch 1:38-42, educated at Heliopolis3, City of the Sun God Ra4, and where Amenism (worship of Amen as God of Gods of the Egyptian Pantheon) was in full swing at the time5.
In the Egyptian Religion Amen appears in the XII dynasty as “Son of the Sun”, Son of the Sun God Ra6, Jesus is likewise the “Son of God”, his titles include ”The Sun of Righteousness” Mal 4: 2, “The Amen” Re 3: 14, “The Truth” Jno 14: 6: In Isa 65:16 Amen is translated as “the God of truth” 7 and is represented by the capitalized “Verily”, “Truly”, and “Surely”, to confirm that, the Catholic Bible uses Amen amen in many places where Verily verily is used in the KJV. Jesus Christ! “God in him, and in him Amen” II Co 1:20.
Like Amen of the Bible, some chief titles of Amen Ra were “Lord of the Thrones of the Two Lands” Ro 14:9(Land of the living, land of the dead); “God of Gods” De 10:17, Ps 136:2, Da 2:47; “King of the Gods” Ro 10:12, 2 Ch 2:5,“I am the LORD thy God from the land of Egypt” Ho 12:9. Whereas the capitalized Amen is the name of a God8
How can it be that Amen Ra and Jesus share the same attributes and titles? Because they are one and the same God, in a different body, at different times, yet the same spirit of the God, in the body of a man called Jesus; this is evidenced in Jesus’ own words -“Jesus said to them, “before Abraham came to be, I am.” Joh 8:58.
To top it all off, The Amen is the “Testator” of both the Old and New TestAment He 9: 17 and is the object of your Idolatrous Worship, hence one of Jesus’ titles being “The Testator or Covenator”9, because they are one and the same; to wit, Like any Last Will and Testament, the testator signs off at the end, just like Amen does in Re 20: 21. Behold! Amen signs off on many of the books as well.
Moreover, since Jesus is Amen, Amen is Amen Ra, and Amen Ra is depicted as “The Idol” in Bible Dictionaries10, and the definition of Idolatry shown the Bible is - “The worship of something seen as representing the unseen”11; then if “God is a spirit” John 4: 24 (which is the unseen), and Jesus (according to his titles) is “God manifest in the flesh” 1 Ti 3: 16, and “The Image of the Invisible God” Col 1: 15 (what is seen and worshipped), thereby the qualifications for Idolatry are satisfied.
The unlearned say Amen at thy giving of thanks, seeing he understandeth not what thou sayest” I Co14:16“.
“Ä´-mĕn, amen, I say unto you”, because It is what you war-ship.

6 There was a man inspired by the Tet, whose name was John.
7 The body of John was inspired to be a witness, to bear witness to the Spirit of Ra in the Tet, that all men through the Tet might be alive in it.
8 John was not that Spirit, but was inspired to bear witness of that Spirit. (The spirit of John went into it, and spirit of it into the body of John)

The belief that a God or gods exist, but that they are not wholly good, essentially, evil in its utmost form.
With regards to the God(s) and Its' evil book called Bible, I have years of relentless research under my belt, I speak from a standpoint of esoteric gnosis, which is beyond Bible Scholar or Theologian.
With that said, I can tell you that you don't have to believe in said God(s) or the Evil Book, in order to be under the influence thereof.
You currently exist within a legal sphere, wherein you are owned outright by said God(s), as a commodity, a slave thereto.
