get a Spryte Sit to Stand Assist devise on wheels.. the one without batteries.. it will change your and his life trust me.. i work in a nursing home, we use these every hour..
Never seen your video before. Being able to stay in home is a wonderful idea. We hate being uprooted later in life. Being where things are familiar is preferable. I'd suggest multiple handicap bars in the Ba. Also suggest an Aqua Care shower head & hand held. The automated closet is a BRILLIANT ideas. A walk-in/ roll-in closet would also be preferable. Don't want to have to restrict clothing choices. Thank you so much for this video. GOD BLESS!
Not bad, but roll under desk is better idea. Taps should elbow controlled. Bidet should have a drier function. Mirrored cabinet should low and wide. Think 'chest height' and 'arthritis' and build accordingly. I would like to see you in a wheelchair demonstrating the build.
We appreciate your ideas. Every item was designed by our client who is in a wheelchair. His wife is not in a chair so the project shows compromises they made for accommodating their different needs. The medicine cabinet and higher cabinet was for her and the roll under cabinet was for him. Storage was a big issue so the cabinet in the bedroom is designed for storage not for accessibility. He has a separate office that we also made fully accessible.

Really great video! You did a nice job with this inventive, custom bathroom. How clearance do you need on the side of the bed for ADA?
I really really want a shower for me and my wheelchair. It would be pure luxury.
