Talk about someone with lots of inner conflicts and lack of confidence; whoever needs to step on others cannot be divine, simply because such being would be lacking real divine strength. Yeah, pretty much like DIO Brando (needs to make sure everything “is alright”, everyone is being “perfectly controlled.”)
Anyway. This deck is likely to be built with 4000 gems, if that's enough to be top tier for 3 seasons... then it's a HUGE investment. We can only say the game is as F2P as it could be right now. In just 1 month I can farm 8000 gems if I get "grindy" lol

I thought mini boxes with competitive and tiered decks were gone long ago with vampires. I guess this is such a great comeback, if anything Konami has improved a lot; first they applied the perfect ban list without harming Samurais and now they are giving us another META deck.

I remember having this deck built before banishment and loving it. I played it with two ryko to mill cards into the graveyard. It wasn’t really consistent enough to play over my desperado deck which was tier 0 back then but after Valhalla came out and I drew my 3rd banishment it was kinda stupid how good this deck was and even after the ban list limiting contact and sanctified they’re probably still number 1. Just glad I fell in love with this deck before it became top tier and that’s in large part to this video which also taught me how to play darklords
A darklord deck was the first deck I got working in DL so they are my favourites, along with a counter trap parthatch deck, so I consider darklord Morningstar my ace!! Great video👌👌

Darklord Desire I believe is viable choice for these decks to get through cards that can completely wall them such as Destiny HERO Decider and Obnoxious Celtic Guardian. Desires effect can just send them to the GY and with the effect of The Sanctified Darklord, you can restore its' attack as if nothing happened.
Dkayed you should visit GameA, if you do, you may consider asking Konami to take down the site and open a new one. Game is still in very good shape and has lots of potential for the near future. So they should care about their main web and not allow pictures because every day there's one guy (people say he's British) posting bestiality porn to scare people away.

I'm watching this as of 20th October, just 1 month after the Valhalla Main Box was released which included the magic card Banishment of the Darklords. That card brought much more consistency to this deck that nowadays it's Tier 1 and the banlist hit 2 of this deck's cards, along with other generic cards which were used on the deck to help it. It's crazy to see how people had to build this deck back then without Banishment and make it work. My respect for them.
What an awesome release, for real. Konami wasn't giving us TIERED decks in mini boxes, this is definitely a huge improvement for duel links. Guess it's time to whale.
my 2nd copy came with 2200 and the third one with 1600. 3 Ixchen was = 4200 gems for me. Looks like they have increased the drop rate of UR/SRs since Samurais were released.

I also have a question....wouldnt Life Cost 0 be a much better choice of skill for when your under 1000 LP and need to activate your card effects? I dont know if Life Cost 0 requires you to have sufficent LP to begin with but just an idea for the grind game.
fairy smile is better than LP 0 if you're worried about LP costs but really you should be able to keep up LP with the trap & ixchel in def unless you're losing badly anyway

I've been playing it for a decent amount of time, and it's definitely not a deck you can just pick up and play and expect wins, but it has a lot of potential, and its a lot of fun to play to boot. Excited for future decks to come.
not having their searcher spell does hurt the deck's consistency...but its still pretty fun to play with. the deck is pretty weak to backrow heavy decks though, since they have no spot removal cards....atleast not in duel links

Omfg! It's William Kidd TTH only fell out because of Sams overwhelming presence. That doesn’t mean it’s a bad card, especially in a deck that naturally has a good sams matchup and can clean its own traps out of the graveyard.
Mercury yes because it plays around so many of the meta cards and easily takes down six Sam while self sustaining. it has strong defense while being hella aggressive
Pay half your life points to summon two monsters that are the same lvl as a monster your opponent controls.. it depends on your opponent controlling a monster of a specific lvl while you have monsters of that lvl, too situational
Played Darklord in the TCG for over 4 years and love it. Suprised there is no Superbia but it makes sense because of the limited zones and you normally used Suberbia to Xyz into Zombiestein/Hope Harb anyway. Also already have 3 Ixy and 1 Surb so you just saved me some money!
So here's the deal and correct me if I'm wrong but in your duel vids how many losses do you not record to get the gameplay you get? How come you get Ixchel or Morningstar like every hand / draw was just perfect for you? Or how many takes did it take to get that footage? Also where's the Weevil stall burn? Where you face down triple Trap Holes and wall of D every goddamn time. Or where's the Canadia, or Treacherous and you DON'T have any protection because the only way you could make a play was to discard Tez otherwise you're just dead. Not running Desire how do even remove the constant Neos fusion spam, or once again more Weevil Stall... Yeah the deck is great and it's a fun deck to play. But don't lie to these people, it's not a "Big Brain" deck it's simple dumb luck you don't get destroyed by Backrow and horrendous match up and not to mention the constant brick hands.
Well thats right. But I guess everyone should be aware of the weakness of the DarkLords deck right? Its the backrow of the enemy. Especially Wall of Disruption fucks this deck up . But you can easily tribute your weakened monsters. I rarely brick with this deck and barely had problems against stall decks. Its ok if you know how to play the Darklords. Just finish the enemy before he does :)
that's super common... best way to measure is to look at his winstreak counter at the bottom corner cause he clearly cuts his losses from the vid, he never won more than two in a row

no one else seems to like desire, but its awesome removal without destroying...at the very least, I'll keep my one in, its saved my butt a few games. (mostly AG that fusion out the big guy...)
I think that Canadia and Floodgate are also good counters, as well as WoD, so this deck can be countered while still being strong. I think it is very healthy to have decks like this one. That being said, destroy Lava Golem already, THAT card is the abomination for Duel Links!
Skull Meister does nothing to Darklord, they don't have a single card that activates in the grave, they all use on field monster effects to use effects that count as the s/t in the gy and then recycles those s/t

TTH only fell out because of Sams overwhelming presence. That doesn’t mean it’s a bad card, especially in a deck that naturally has a good sams matchup and can clean its own traps out of the graveyard.

Played Darklord in the TCG for over 4 years and love it. Suprised there is no Superbia but it makes sense because of the limited zones and you normally used Suberbia to Xyz into Zombiestein/Hope Harb anyway. Also already have 3 Ixy and 1 Surb so you just saved me some money!
& now it’s nerfed .. fucking great 🤦🏽♂️
The deck seems really tight
So here's the deal and correct me if I'm wrong but in your duel vids how many losses do you not record to get the gameplay you get? How come you get Ixchel or Morningstar like every hand / draw was just perfect for you? Or how many takes did it take to get that footage?
Also where's the Weevil stall burn? Where you face down triple Trap Holes and wall of D every goddamn time. Or where's the Canadia, or Treacherous and you DON'T have any protection because the only way you could make a play was to discard Tez otherwise you're just dead. Not running Desire how do even remove the constant Neos fusion spam, or once again more Weevil Stall...
Yeah the deck is great and it's a fun deck to play. But don't lie to these people, it's not a "Big Brain" deck it's simple dumb luck you don't get destroyed by Backrow and horrendous match up and not to mention the constant brick hands.
Well thats right. But I guess everyone should be aware of the weakness of the DarkLords deck right? Its the backrow of the enemy. Especially Wall of Disruption fucks this deck up . But you can easily tribute your weakened monsters. I rarely brick with this deck and barely had problems against stall decks. Its ok if you know how to play the Darklords. Just finish the enemy before he does :)

he destroyed Weevil stall burn like 3 times on stream, & that was before improving the deck further, it was probably just a pita to cut down for time

Asura Kannon highly suggest do not use without her she is a huge component because this is a huge deck that needs draw power.

that's super common... best way to measure is to look at his winstreak counter at the bottom corner cause he clearly cuts his losses from the vid, he never won more than two in a row
@@madhatten00 That's more like it. I tried it myself and wasn't having a good time, without superbia, it made it even harder to get Morningstar on the field for me.

no one else seems to like desire, but its awesome removal without destroying...at the very least, I'll keep my one in, its saved my butt a few games. (mostly AG that fusion out the big guy...)
One word : Skull Mister
I think that Canadia and Floodgate are also good counters, as well as WoD, so this deck can be countered while still being strong. I think it is very healthy to have decks like this one.
That being said, destroy Lava Golem already, THAT card is the abomination for Duel Links!
Skull Meister does nothing to Darklord, they don't have a single card that activates in the grave, they all use on field monster effects to use effects that count as the s/t in the gy and then recycles those s/t
