I think many people are over playing this 'we only want players who play want to play for the badge/for the project' is a bit silly. Player's join clubs, any clubs, because the money and personal terms are right. They couldnt care less about the club. Its naive to think otherwise.

Well have to look at it like this, half the main squad been our for more than half the season. Next season we have all, only league and cup to focus on. Next season will be a nice one

Fabian Schar will be 33 this year, Tosin is a natural step up with Botman to partner. He should come to Newcastle.

Im more interested in getting rid of players this summer. Getting Hendrick, Fraser, Lewis, Hayden, Ritchie ,Karius and Dummet off the books would be a good start before trying to sell Dubravka, Ashby, Kuol, Trippier, Targett, Longstaff, Willock, Almiron and Wilson. If by some sort of sorcery we manage to get rid of all of them then we can concentrate on what we have and where we need to strengthen with quality
The project is strong and attractive, any player can see how settled and together the squad is, and how Eddie's coaching staff have improved players. If they're not sold on it, move on.
Unfortunately there’s levels to the transfer market for certain players … TOSIN was never coming to the toon unless we were in Europe
I think with ffp, the 3 mill from Australia means we can spend 9 million over the 3 year financial period, and if that 9 mill and dead wood players sales means we balance the books and don't have to sell a big hitter then I will be all for it and if tosin wants to go to Chelsea with a sqaud of 30 odd players and about 17 players coming back from loan he would struggle for game time so newcastle is the best bet
I don’t think if Tosin goes to Chelsea it’s because of Europe. It would have been nice but put it in perspective Eoropean conference vs NUFC long term aims. Personal circumstances will come into his decision and we need players who want to be here

Compared to who Chelsea? The club who only become significant once Abramovich took over. Football was a game before the premier league you know. If you look at Newcastle before Mike Ashley, you would see we were the 9th richest club in the world, while Chelsea werent even in the top 20. We finished in Europe, and the champions league on a regular basis, but we got sold to a scrooge, and Chelsea got better while we got worse. Just be careful kicking clubs when they are down, because mark my words, the good times dont last forever, and the only way Chelsea are going to go now is down on a downward spiral.
