I think Chris Nilan is a very good analyst of the all around situation of the Canadien and the hockey in général. He sees the big picture. Very intelligent guy.
I am not the best person to recognize accents, but hearing how NIlan talks like Bill Burr just confirms that both of them are definitely from Boston. It's too bad Seattle gets a team before Quebec.
I was really hoping that Quebec would have been the choice over Seattle. Those old Habs Nordiques, & Bruins Nordiques rivalries were the best ever. Who could ever forget the Good Friday Massacre.
Who were Chris’ s line mates while he played. ? I remember Gainey, McFee, Carboneau , Stukland, maybe Jarvis. Shut down lines. They were the best at that.
His best hockey seasons were with Guy Carbonneau and Bob Gainey...nearly 20goals+ each 2 years in a row... ...in 84 Gainey missed at 19 and in 85 Nilan missed at 19...pretty good for a shutdown line!
Ty Brandon and Dale and Chris. What a great podcast. 👍

Quebec is not good for expansion. They’ll be perfect for a western team to relocate to though
Nilan, Prust, Weise - all the enforcers make for great content

For me, Toronto is not even in the top 3 in rivalries with Mtl. 1. Québec 2. Boston, 3. Ottawa, 4. Toronto.
