I absolutely love this video and this is spot on.
My perspective as a sewist: the first items I’ve made were jersey close-fitting tops. I first worked with viscose jersey, which was far too flimsy for my bone structure and almost looked cheap on me (though it worked better in darker colors because as you’ve said in another video, dark colors appear heavier), then I tried a heavier cotton jersey. This one was much better, but it looked kinda one-dimensional and flat on me. The fabric that ended up working really well for my FN bone structure was a medium weight ribbed knit because of the texture. The same top that looked cheap in viscose and boring in a simple cotton jersey looked amazing with this textured fabric.
Also, open necklines, unstructured fabrics or cuts…
So I’m coming to the same conclusion: lots of textures and ease of movement.

What do you mean "just above the knuckle"? Because the sleeves are going to her wrist?
