In terms of immense raw power, rapid rate in growth and adaptability, and latent potential, I've always liked DBZ Broly and DBS Broly equally. However, in regard to character development, mentality and personality, I've always preferred DBS Broly over DBZ Broly.
That because you like many do not understand Z Broly. He do not hate Goku because he was crying as a baby. He hate him because Goku remind him the day he almost died from King Vegeta stabbing him. He associate Goku with danger.
Fr, me too man. I also hated the fact that Z Broly was just fixated on Goku because of his crying, rather than Vegeta, who quite literally looks like his dad (minus the facial hair).
Broly (Super) is the legendary Saiyan of U7 and Kale is his equivalent in U6 which I like both. Even the OG Broly (Z) made everyone scared of him except goku, which according to some scientists that have a theory about animals, is that is supposed to reflect dominants and since Goku never bow down to him it made angry.
One question I have to ask would be is Broly truly evil or just insane and unable to control himself? Of course I’m referring to the original Broly. If Broly is only plain and simply insane then this would make him the most tragic Dragon Ball movie villain. He was nearly executed over fear, envy, and paranoia of what he could become and suffered a traumatic infancy. Throughout his life he had frequently lost control of his anger and went on destructive rampages in one of which he punched his father Paragus in the face so hard that he gouged his eye out. This led Paragus to mind control his son for years thus Broly was a prisoner in his own mind and body. And when Broly was finally able to liberate himself from his father’s control, he must have also gotten out of his own control, now becoming a slave to his anger, bloodlust, and sadism. This left the Z Fighters with no other choice but to kill Broly or else he could destroy the entire universe if left unchecked. By the end of it Broly nearly died but he survived and his already fragile mental state was further shattered, leaving him a nearly mindless berserker. Once more the only option left was to kill Broly and this time the Z Fighters succeeded. Even his clone didn’t find any solace. Due to his physical form not being set yet and culture fluid becoming acidic when exposed to oxygen, his body started melting into a syrupy state and considering it remained this way, he must have been in constant pain. Now his clone was truly a mindless raging beast and the only fate in store for him was death. And what must have made this more tragic was that it could have possibly been different. It’s established that non-canon material such as the movies take place in a separate timeline. That means a different event had to change the course of the timeline. In Broly’s case it must have been Goku’s crying, his botched execution, and narrowly avoiding the destruction of Planet Vegeta. If he was simply exiled to another planet before the destruction of Planet Vegeta like his canon counterpart it could be entirely possible that Broly would have been more docile and less maniacal. Instead his ptsd turned him into a homicidal maniac. This must be why Akira Toriyama rewrote Broly into a more docile character when he was added into canon, to make it more obvious that we should be sympathetic to him and to spare him this tragic fate.
Not really Broly just becomes stronger He doesn't mutate to become immune to what killed him I don't know that much about Doomsday but don't they literally become immune to poison and other non physical stuff like magic Broly only grows in strength and learns how to fight Not totally negating All the potential ways around his strength
I kinda wished that Broly got off of Vampa sooner. Out of all the villains and enemies Goku and the others dealt with, his scaling makes the most sense. He’s actually been training consistently. If he had the right teacher or teachers, he’d be godly. If he could reach ss3 on his own, imagine what gogeta would have to do in order to keep up.
Stick him in the time chamber couple of times have him train against gogeta and super black saga rage trunk and beast gohan fused...couple zen Kai boost , ki boosts being able to focus and control his rage.. .
Broly has the most true broken power of the Legendary Super Saiyans of all times not any of the Super Saiyan transformation could have stopped Broly not no one except gogeta if broly had the true powers of Animeverse multiversel universes
Z broly's legendary super saiyan form is unique to him. While Dbs Broly and and Kale are obvious references they both have their own forms. Dbs Broly's green haired form is called full power super saiyan, while Kale's green haired forn is called Berserker.

They were lining it up for goku and vegeta to be the next couple of gods or whatever for the universe. Broly getting as strong as he is I wonder if they'll ask him to be an angel or god, or if it will be a jiren situation for him where he's stronger than the god of destruction.
I like Broly but it made no sense to me in the most recent movie how no matter how many times he was hit or how many forms Goku and Vegeta did (I’m not counting Fusion) Broly was just somehow surviving. Especially a SSJ Blue Goku and Vegeta which should’ve been galaxies stronger than him.
If you were paying attention to what they were saying about him in the movie, they were essentially saying that he's a freak of nature among the Saiyan race, hence his crazy ass feats he performs throughout the entire fight.
