english isn't my first language, but I just wanted to say that I can figured that editing this video wasn't easy, but it was worth it, definitly pays off! makes it unique, in the senses that you are creating an identity to your channel and your content, and injects the concepts into our minds more effectively. and its more fun! thank you always, cheers from brazil!
"what would tomorrow's version of me thank me for today?" I've been trying to remind myself to "be kinder to future me" but I don't always know what to do. this question is more specific and leads to action, I love it, thank you.
ngl the battery draining and charging sound effects at 8:27 got me XD Real talk though, I'm at a point in my life where I needed to hear all of this. TYSM for sharing!
Amé todas las preguntas ❤. Justo ahora estoy en el proceso de finalizar un postgrado y es incredibly tiring and draining whenever i get overwhelmed. Pero no hay necesidad de procrastinar much anymore. ❤
😳...how'd you manage to give me a existential crisis in the first 5 seconds?! I'm really pondering if i *suffer* from overthinking...or if I'm just used to it and the consequences😕😂
I love this video format so so SO much!!!! The first time I watched it, it felt inspiring, but now it's more of a comfort video I come to in order to calm my mind. Maybe its because of the way you speak and carry yourself, or the calm setup, the visuals, your interacting with your digital whiteboard... Idk, but it's truly soothing!! I've been watching it every night of this past week after setting my BuJo and calendar for the next day and it's becoming a habit at this point, a way to tell my mind "Okay, once Simie's video finishes, it's time to go to bed" and it's working so far! Thank you for what you do, Simie!!!
Thanks so much for this breakdown! Describing the context behind each question really makes the whole thing that much more relatable and down to earth. This is your best video yet! And the humor is 💯✨
Sometime I would love to hear the breakdown between number 2 and number 4 - sure, I know that the easiest way is not always simplest, and vice versa, but maybe that means there’s some other characteristic or adjective that we could look for that would combine the two? “What is the COOLEST way this could get done?”
There is so much to unpack here... There are so many great prompt/questions, and each has potential to be very disruptive. How do you apply these to your every day journaling? Is it a ritual? Motivational check list? How does it fit into every day life? I struggle with identifying the distractions from the "down time soul savers"
I mostly just think of them as I sort through my todos and then whatever one’s that pop in my head when I catch myself procrastinating out in the wild. After making this vid I realized it’s helpful to have the whole list written on a single page in my journal to refer to every now and then!
I’m thinking of gamifying it (maybe eliminating some questions, or dividing them in two) and rolling dice and tackling whatever question comes up on the die. I’ve also thought about a sticker sheet/tearaway card type thing that could be done for each one. For example, on the “is this worth doing?” question, I picture a little slider between “no” and “yes” and with a little card holder you can use to hold the thing that you’re contemplating. Also, I might be overthinking…😅
I am making a plug for adult gymnastics haha. Had a spinal cord injury and doing PT for "health" was boring. No I do "PT vitamins" in addition to my drills to throw a handstand or a skill. That is fun! And I am not only a fluffy acrobat but a great PT patient. Nice set of prompts Simie. I am going to take some of these questions and add them my to my habits app to show up daily (1 per day). Perhaps that will be a good TGIF. Toes goes in first. 🙂
Great stuff! I always want to ask better questions and many of these I had not come across before, or thought how they might be used, so thank you, Simie.
I don’t suffer from overthinking, but i do suffer from over maladaptive daydreaming.. 😂😅

This is so incredibly helpful for me at this precise moment. It’s like you knew exactly what obstacles I’m struggling with. Thank you SO MUCH!!

Certainly, a lot of food for thought. Thank you!

love your content, you inspire me to bet on myself & be real in doing so. THANK YOU
Great video! I wrote all of the questions down in my journal so I can reference them as often as I can!
(I just found your channel, how do you not have two squintillion subscribers?!) You're wise and lovely, thank you for this!
This was super-helpful. Procrastination, stemming from stress and anxiety is a constant struggle for me. Thanks!

Lovely work Simie. I need you on my back to say "no no no no no" when I think about staying up for one more podcast rather than going to sleep!
Love the new setup !

Thanks a lot Simie, now I added "Build a Terrarium" to my 'someday' list. Great vid!
😂😂😂 lemme know how it goes
This is why I don't keep plants. 😂 Just kidding! Great video!
I often think I self sabotage by procrastinting
How to make scrubbing a litter box slightly more pleasant? Watching this video at the same time 😂❤
Vicks on the upper lip 😂
if you have a big box with lots of litter and scoop daily, scrubbing the box every few weeks is not bad.
@@bedheadacademic I scoop daily and clean weekly, that doesn't change the fact it is more pleasant with a video 😂
Here as #100! First time I made the likes into such an even number 😄
Thanks!
