Man, this is such a photogenic ride! This is Test Track 2.0 if it was a coaster! The original purpose of building this in Shanghai was because Shanghai doesn't have Space Mountain. But at MK, guests now have the option to decide which dark coaster they want to ride. Did it take too long to complete? Yes, but this is giving Tomorrowland the love that it deserves. Having another coaster in the park will put less pressure on the others. Even with this at MK now, I'm still gonna go to Shanghai to check out Zootopia on top of their version of Pirates. It also helps that their metro system takes you right to the park.
It is my life goal to ride this at least once in my life.
This ride gives me Test Track vibes and it looks fun!
Can confirm, it is very fun! After riding it, I get Space Mountain vibes as well, except much smoother and zoomier. :)
The launch gave me goosebumps, but like you've already said, Josh. The duration of the ride could be alittle longer.
I can see that Disney took their time! Glad to see Tron finally has a ride in Walt Disney World!

Amazing ride! I’ve done it twice and gonna do it a third time tomorrow at night. Don’t listen to the people who complain about it not being long enough.
We waited an extra two years more than we should've for this. But based on what I saw in this video, it was definitely worth it. Can't wait to try it some day. I bet this will be my new favorite ride at the resort.

I love this channel, and the video (meaning the video quality) is, as usual, superb. Unfortunately that means it fully captures the derivative nature of the ride and the utter “that was all of it?” disappointment at the end.
I know it seems really short, and it likely is, but this is just barely shorter than Rockin’ Roller Coaster by about 15-10 seconds. Most coasters that are launched are pretty short since a good chunk of the thrill comes from that launch. But still, this looks great!
It's longer than Kinga Ka at Great Adventure.....The effects are much better too. I thought it was a great ride...

Hey Josh & Jenna! This is the best video of the ride that I have seen so far. Very clear and focused. The ride in total looked to be 1 min 40 seconds, with 30 seconds being the slow beginning and slow down at the end. All in all, it looks to be an amazing addition to MK and Tomorrowland! Thanks for the fun stream last night, and yes, we could see and hear you all! Lol!

That looks amazing but so short
Launch coasters are usually on the short side since most of the thrill is in the force of the launch. Storm Runner at HersheyPark is one of my favorite coasters and it's almost half the ridetime of Tron from launch to brakes
Yeah this definitely reminds me of when Test Track first came out but upgraded to a Rockin' Space mountain version.

@ResortTV1 Awesome POV of TRON by the way and it looks incredible. My question is if will glasses fly off on this ride because I have a vision impairment and I simply need glasses to see what's going on and that's been something extremely confusing to me.

I wanted the sound of Bit from 1982 and the theme song that opens and closes the original, those scary things in shape of Ms that come down and that sound would have been neat, but it's still great!

The ride's visuals are awesome and it looks fun, but it's honestly one of the shortest rides that I've seen. Hopefully they find a way to lengthen the ride someday cuz then it would be a top-notch ride!

Due to health concerns I have a few questions. Does it start off fast like Rockin Roller Coaster, or is it a slower start? G forces? It was a little difficult to see details, but it looks like there were more lighting effects and scenery than could really be seen on the video. Is that correct?
I think it's faster. The only thing is that there's no upside-down moments.
Correct on lighting effects. It is close, but perhaps the camera didn't captures some of the lighting. Has a very Space Mountain format (in my opinion) once inside riding in the dark. Incredible queue visuals and sounds. Ride is a rush and very smooth. Also, I feel more 'in control' in that bike position and didn't really notice the G forces as a result, going head-on. 0-60 MPH in a couple seconds at start. (Also since mentioning health concerns - some cars have 'traditional' sit-up seats as the back two bikes.)
I wish guardians had that stationary seat option at the end without the spinning! 😭🤞🏼 the spinning is too much for me can’t enjoy it . Can wait to try tron! 🎉

This is really nice look coaster, just doesn't seem like it sustains thrill for real long. That launch outside and then it seems like it slows down after that. Just like Cosmic Rewind it's state of the art, but not enough thrill.
I'm being picky, but I want more orange light cycles next to me and trying to outflank me action.
Sudden kink in ride to nudge orange light cycle into wall wouldn't hurt. Don't know if they can do high speed kink without being too aggressive.

After how incredible the guardians ride is, this is a pretty huge let down imo. Looks like a slow ride, with lackluster theming and a short duration
It’s definitely not slow…. But you’re right… it’s not on the same level as Guardians.
@@ResortTV1 relative to other launched rides it appears to be slow. Not sure about the actual stats of it but considering this is a more thrill seeker oriented ride its a little disappointing in terms of speed

GoPro. It was strapped to my shoulder. You are correct that phones aren’t allowed out on the ride.

For the length of time they spent building this, and the vast size of the outdoor canopy, this ride does not live up to its own hype. There should have been far more interactive themeing in the dark portion instead of just a few gates that you pass through and one projection. If i queued for this i would be so disappointed.
Are there any drops on this coaster it doesn’t look like it but I’m not sure.

I was disappointed in how short it was. Night time is the way to experience it with the canopy all lit up. For sure Guardians of the Galaxy is much more exciting with the music sound tracks. My first thoughts are, all that money spent for a ride that just doesn't deliver any major thrill IMHO. It's Test Track on a make-shift motor cycle.

Tim Tracker said in his video that they allow a gopro if it is strapped to your chest but not on your wrist.
