I have a theory that your sleep length is related to digestion. I’ve been eating at maintenance calories for a year and letting deficit come from exercise. I rarely sleep more than five hours due to eating earlier in the day. When I had to raise carbs to facilitate more fat loss, I began sleeping longer again.
💯, EXACTLY. I woke up to early with 250 carbs Slept thru the night when I ate 420 carbs. Seems like a no-brainer (more carbs = more sleep) But repeatable behavior REQUIRES numbers Especially trying G-flux
It's because of increased cortisol from dieting. Nothing to do with digestion. Good to eat casein or Greek yogurt before bed to get muscles with a need when calorie restricting.
