Before watching this I didn't have high expectations, I only did it because I liked seing the military kick ass. But MAN WAS I WRONG. This anime exceeded my expectations tenfold. Amazing characters, Amazing environment, decent plot and good animation/CGi combo are some of the few reasons why this anime is so good!
i'd say the plot isn't all that well thought out or implemented, and is overall a bit of a disappointment, but that doesn't matter with how awesome everything else is, so who cares.
This is a one of a kind anime you wont find anywhere else. Its really great. I rewatched it twice already and it NEVER gets boring. Itami is such a chad amazing MC. All characters are great
