I am using this car for last 6 months. Mileage city-14,highway -19.well refined engine. Its for better then i20 and swift. Best for long drive. Very comfortable and no noise in engine

true even on i20 being a bigger car...the lower seating position makes elder people uncomfortable...i10 rear seats r perfect

I own i10 nios and I love the car. There is no regret purchasing it from their rivals. I bought it just a year back and I don't feel bad that this new model has been released. I have everything I need now itself..

I own a brand new Nios sports AMT just three months old which is from the prev gen. Dealer was clever to not provide any input for this new facelift 😀 nalla irupeengappa neegallem 😀😀
Since this channel and forum has great viewership, some inputs from my end.
Cons:
First 2000 kms extremely tight steering.
Mileage will be very low for 2000kms. Max 10-11 during the setup period.
Braking doesn't enforce confidence/pumping needed at highspeeds, lower speeds its fine.
Cabin noise during highspeeds is evident not silent.
Hill hold not present (not applicable from now on)
Heavy head nod for shifts btw 1-2-3
Full load tends to hit speed bumps if not driving carefully due to ground clearance.
Pros:
Very comfortable ride (but not a peppy car at all)
Value for money due to features and overall quality.
Personally felt better for the cost in comparison to other cars that was in my choice/checks like Swift (only for cost), wagonR/Celerio/Ignis (in terms of build quality & features)
Good suspension and comfort.
Good AC experience.
Decent infotainment but not great.
Decent first service experience.
Easy driving in city and not a bad choice for long drives.
P.S - my choice of car was for an automatic/AMT which was lesser than 8lakhs from budget standpoint. I didn't want to spend a dime more than 8L. Nios if not automatic and manual, it's the best rate car in the hatch segment. 90k difference for AMT regardless of versions. New Nios tends to be pricey.

@@pranavjs 😀😀So trueon what you said and yep, the older version looks better than the 2023 model as it looks more like the now stopped Santro. Also with 9Lakhs on-road for sports, this is not worth that money interms of driving experience, glad that I didnt wait and buy the recent facelift.
Yes coming to celerio, that was my first choice and when I felt the doors like paper, I decided not to go for it for the same 7-7.5 lakh price range.. glad that worked out too..
Overall Nios is OK but never a great car from driving experience. Anyways have to live with it... 😜
I'm fully satisfied with my previous generation GRAND I 10 NIOS TURBO PETROL engine. I bought it just a months ago. Current facelift model doesn't have TURBO PETROL engine. I bought it for 8.3 lakhs on road including offers. But current model price is much more higher. Now turbo petrol engine comes from i20, venue and Verna.

I own nios turbo model which is being now discontinued... I'm so happy that I bought a turbo nios.. Awesome pickup equal to i20 diesel pickup.. I don't know why they stopped it... It's the pocket rocket.

Nice presentation. Just make sure when the video quality while filming from rear seat. The roads are vaguely visible. May be coz of excessive sunlight. If we pan the camera a bit straight I guess we can solve the issue and the presentation will be more appealing. The landscape views adds more beauty to the presentation.

Offlate only I started watching your Channel and I should say you really bring that personal passion into the reviews you do and also the points you bring out are very easy for common people to understand and help gain knowledge or in decision making. I wanted to replace by 2006 model Santro Xing MT with a new compact hatchback AMT and after all the reviews/test drives etc including looking at the micro SUV segment since by budget was within 10 lacs onroad , zeroed in on Hyundai Grand Nios i10 Asta AMT.
Couple of points I wanted some guidance / feedback from motowagon team & other viewers:
* I already have a Creta which is my primary car and was using the Santro as a backup or for shorter city trips , key consideration being traffic / parking space etc
* Had mainly got the 2nd hand Santro for my wife , but since it was an MT she really never ended up driving. * So now really wanted to upgrade to a compact AT hatchup which will encourage her to start driving and become proficient on roads
* One confusion I have is whether I should go for i10 Nios Asta AMT or i20 Sportz IVT and this i20 variant will come at approx a difference of 1 to 1.3 lacs as they are waiting for a facelift launch of i20 also within September , so final new price nor yet known
* Found the 2023 i20's space & looks much better , but i10 Asta had more features including 6 airbags etc and also i20 is slightly longer / wider and relatively a bigger car
* So the key question is if its mostly for city drive where traffic / parking etc are key considerations , to get me wife to start driving regularly which the AMT will help , occasionally perhaps a highway drive , a second car which I can also drive , leaving aside that there will be price inflation of 1 to 1.3 lacs, which would be better car to choose between the two

resale value is decent but not as good as suzuki

Will be nice if comparisons made with base versus middle vs top ...like Era vs magna vs sport vs astha......request is because showrooms display only top end ...n they just highlight the missing items ...just a request to be more informative

Rear seat space and comfort- nios is better than ignis.
15 years is somehow a long time, quality and efficiency (showroom condition) - 10 to 12 years..
If fuel economy can be compromised, then nios is a good choice..
Swift offers 4 seconds hill hold assist, which is missing in nios, other than that, nios scores better than ignis and Swift.

All are good.. Why didn't you address about the mileage.. It's one of the biggest factor for new buyers or first time buyers.. They have to check another platform or videos to get to know the mileage. If you cover it here that would be better to them. Including me.☺

Aftermarket "Sunroof" affects the structural rigidity of the car, is that true ? (That too if we try panoramic sunroof it is unsafe)
Or do we have any other option to get an aftermarket sunroof without affecting the strength.

Celerio not a car it's a soap case
Hyundai should consider adding front seat headrest for all variants, its more of a safety feature than a comfort feature. Also, the light fabric seats are not sustainable for indian conditions. Everything else is top notch.

I think they discontinued the turbo variant. Sad as this was the cheapest/smallest vehicle wih turbo and with manual tramsmission. Sadly it is no more in this price range. Hope ignis comes with the turbo soon!!!

Why no fog lights in nios face-lift even in venue face-lift. Cost cutting? I don't think TPMS is useful. By looking the tyre we can know air is there or not. This city car occasional highway, cruze is not necessary feature, Instead driver head rest and driver hand rest must feature.
tpms is useful and cruise is also a joy to use when we hit highways many people go long trips in this car also atleast twice a year...yes fog lamps n adjustable headrests shud have been given
Newer generation designs are now without Fog lamps.
TPMS comes handy in hot summer while we do highway drives in concrete roads to keep a check on the increased tyre pressure and decreased
