I just got my wave buds and I am really thankful for this review. About the no lid design, yeah it sucks but I just bought a shock proof case and thankfully it has a lid!
The sound is great. When you get then the build quality seems good. But only seems good. I have been using them for about two months and when I put them in the case they sometimes don't start charging and don't disconnect from my device. I have to fiddle them in the case and sometimes they start charging and disconnect from my device. But then I come back 30-45 minutes later and I see they have connected do my device and aren't charging. I don't know if that is a feature or not so evaluate my experience as you want. The sound is great and when fully charged they can play music non-stop for a long time. It's just this one issue.
Thanks for the review. I wish I had seen it before buying. These earbuda have 2 mics only and that's why calls are so terrible if there's ambient noise. Buy something a little better if you need to have many meetings or calls in any environment.

Great detailed review as always! Paul Can you please suggest me a tws which best suits for Acapella music with details in the highs? And has good stage and virtical stage as well? Within 10k price range!!
Of the few I’ve tested, I’ve been enjoying the LG FP5 quite a lot. It’s got a very premium sound to it and handles imaging quite well for a set of TWS earphones. Vertical stage is usually lacking in TWS earphones. Have you considered getting a good set of IEMs?
@@PaulsPOVyeah! I tried a budget set of iems it's called 7hz zero! But it doesn't seems it has so much of vertical staging and also lacks energy and bass in some genres! And I heard Iems also needs external power Like a Dac amp or so! So I haven't tried more yet !
The 7Hz are great for the price. Bass is usually on the thinner side with most IEMs, the 7Hz has a more prominent bass response than most other IEMs I've tested. Yes, they usually perform better with a good DAC & Amp. IEMs will do better with imaging and staging compared to TWS earphones. Over all music enjoyment is alot more fun if you prefer to listen to the details in your audio. I recently tested the CCA CXS, it does surprisingly well for its price too and has good bass response. It isn't over exaggerated there but has more presents than some other IEMs. If you're open to spending that kind of budget on a set of IEMs + DAC + Amp, I'm sure the guys at HeadphoneZone.in will be able to guide you much better than I can. I've tested a limited amount of gear while they have access to a whole lot of things. Feel free to hit them up if you're open to trying out IEMs, they're sweet folk to talk to.
No one else is going to reply to comments 🤣 Let me know how your audio journey goes. I hope you have fun. I'm thinking of making a video about TWS vs IEMs sometime. That may get you a little more inquisitive about the audiophile hobby.
Have a look at the manual for how to reset these buds. A reset should sort out issues is has. If it doesn't, it's worthwhile getting in touch with customer care.

I haven't tested the enco buds 2, so I wouldn't want to give you any wrong information, but the one thing I'd say can be a negative for the JBL, as much as I like it, is the fact that the case doesn't have a lid, so it can hold a lot of dust or lint in time which could cause contact issues for charging. I haven't heard of this happening yet, but it's not as protected as having a closed case. But otherwise, I quite like how it performs overall. Nice set to own.

Do the buds fall out of the case without a roof? I know that there are magnets but it looks like it would fall out after bumping around in my pockets/falling places
They're strong enough for most bumps and bangs and shouldn't fall out. If they're in a bag they can get plucked out with something else since there's no lid. Should be fine in a pocket.
@@PaulsPOV I reckon it might become annoying for me eventually, I might go for the JBL endurance race TWS ones because they seem to have no flaws and look really good
