Now-now, lets not get all fascist about wheels.....people like or dislike whatever they damn please, and some people just think of RWB, with its goofy window-sticker and barnyard looks as, well, the Stella Artois of cars :) Don't mean they aint your friends, just that in this particular matter, they find it hard to relate, is all.
Maybe they laughed because of the price tag, but then he went ahead and got it. Good for him. Incredible build as always. I can only imagine how happy this dude is right now :)
10:00-12:30 was incredible... cinematography at it's best. not sure who filmed it but it almost made my eye dribble there was that much emotion oozing out of what i was watching.
Hey guys just wanted to let you know to make sure you subscribe to my channel because I will also be releasing a behind the scenes video showing you how we shot the last portion of this film!!
Dude you crushed this....This is one of the best I have ever seen on youtube or any other social sites. Keep it up man! You need to be teaching a class!
Nakai is just bad ass, what a privilege to have him build this car at the owners home. For those that diss the RWB build, it may because they do not understand what it is they are looking at. Its like getting to own your very own early-mid 90's GT2 Evo Porsche Racing Car.
What a class act!! I wish i could still drive. Had a 1986 420SEL big body Benz it was a fine piece of German Engineering. I drove it 300,000 of its 500,000 miles it had on it. Wasn't so nice i was afraid to do things nobody eles would dare to do to a car with a original purchase price of $95k USD. Went 160 in that beast felt like 80 in other cars ive owned. Loved that thing so much until I was paralyzed during a surgery then told i couldn't see good enough anymore 😢 Im building a E-trike now to get me into something with a motor on it! This video brought me back down memory lane thanks guys that thing looks killer & even better bringing a family & culture together ❤️ keep em coming great job gentlemen & gentleladies!
This is so much more than just a car video, this is showing such heavy emotion of passion. To bring the family in on this, showing the pure enjoyment out of everybody in this video, sharing the love with your friends. It's just insane. The production quality on this is flawless. Another great video. You need to be making big time movies because damn, you could change the industry Chris. Keep it up.
This is absolutely the best automotive documentary I have ever seen. You and Anthony absolutely destroyed this. Great job, Chris. Good luck in the film festival too!
This is how Nakai San should be filmed in all his builds. Good job Krispy Media and congratulations to Ben for owning the 1st RWB in Philadelphia! This is the second RWB w/ air suspension that I saw here in YT. If I'm not mistaken, the first one is here in the Philippines. These kind of builds really deserve to have air suspensions.
I have to say that the man knows his craft (RWB) and no matter what, Ben went a very cool and unique route with his Porsche. Even if he seems like a hipster kid with rich parents... I have always been sort of divided on wether or not Nakai was just your typical Japanese customizer who got popular, but at the end of the day, it doesn't matter because IMO RWB Porsches look stunning compared to most. I find it ironic how everyone was clamoring over his ability to do it all by eye, but that is 99% of the aftermarket car industry here. A lot of the work and mods would be considered cheap diy or rice in the states, but if it's done in Japan by locals it's considered JDM as fuck... Nakai is one of the few that hit a grandslam, and his work is now recognized as an iconic part of car culture. I loved the constant shots of the Japanese spray and tools. Basically less than 100$ in shit you buy at the local Makeman (like a Home Depot). I hope Ben appreciates the car as much as I think he does.
Because the video (which was amazing to watch) made Ben look like an entitled hipster douche that had mommy and daddy fund his Porsche build so he can drive by the local poor neighborhood kids. I mean, I highly doubt he is like that, but that's what I felt when I watched the video (so it must be true).... Lol anyways, it's just an opinion right? Check me out on Instagram (@draklore) I build shit like Nakai, all by eye, no measuring... Someone fly me to philly so I can cut up their car, it won't look good, but the video will make me look like a god. Congrats everyone, papa bless 100k followers all around
Erdwins Joseph Yeah I did watch the video. Not sure what your definition of "work" is... maybe you are also one of those rich entitled kids whose parents make them "get a job" to "pay" for their Porsche.. Or maybe you think this kid is one of those teen entrepreneurs who just hit it big with no help from mommy or daddy... The rest of us just see it like it is, it takes money to make money, and even if this kid "worked" for this car, more than likely it was by and large due to his parents either giving him a position where they work, or flat out just making him feel like he earned it because he had to get a normal job like the everyone else his age who drives a beat up Honda. At the end of the day, does it matter? Not really, You still drive a shitbox and this kid owns a RWB porsche.
I guess that's the biggest thing to hate about the RWB Porsche. Nakai San is a humble dude from a small prefecture with a small shop and cars tossed to the side. his personal car "Stella" is a cobbled together mess. But the owners of the RWB cars tend to be completely the opposite, the kind of people who will pay top dollar for a Porsche, and then fly a Japanese man and all of his equipment across the globe so they can have the latest trend car and kill the local scene. To me they are incredible looking cars, and I am sure some of the owners are respectable dudes. But lately the only thing you see is people getting into car culture simply to try and "break necks". I feel like a majority of the people who bought RWB porches fall into that category. The kind of person who doesn't know they should treat cut sheet metal, or be amazed by someone riveting prefab panels onto their 100k$ car. The type of person who will call a production company to come film someone fitting body panels to their car using 2,000Y (18$) worth of materials bought at makeman, and act like it is some lost art. IDK my only question is DID YOU EVEN WATCH THE VIDEO?
this video is the best of him. The family is genuine and heartfelt. I remember watching this 6x a day for 3-4 weeks last year. He was just in dallas and now revisting and watching this over again. I am lucky to get something signed and a pick with him. I am honored. The passion lives on.
Shout out to all the cinematographers that captured not just the car, but the whole experience. You guys did an amazing job telling the story from start to finish! Loved it
Out of all the Nakai videos I have watch this one has the most meaning, congrats Ben Harmony your passion for beauty and your sacrifices have surely paid off and Nakai-San you are a living legend in your own right, keep up the fantastic works of art.
The RWB founding concept seems so "grassroots" to me. The brand came from nothing but a dream and an artistic eye. I love his work. To see it get sold to some kid with Yeezy sneakers, the pidgeotto haircut, and rich parents? Man...I dunno. I guess if you have money you can get whatever you want. Maybe I am jealous. I don't know. I would much rather have seen Nakai build a car for someone who had an old beat-up car. Someone whose passion in life was solely cars and driving. Someone who doesn't have the latest clothing, a big house, etc. Someone who represented what RWB when it first started. But that's my opinion. Congratulations to the owner for owning such a legendary piece of work. Don't crash it.
Subject:NoSubject Its true. rich people buy prebuilt cars cause they are so fucking rich and they dont want to mess their beautiful hands and they got zero knowledge about cars. Bought car is noy real car
The dude seemed like a genuine car enthusiast and so was his parents. If anything it should be inspiring to see someone's dream come to life at that age
Of all the RWB builds, this one is legit the best by far. There is just so much more compassion with close friends and family building a car together. This is absolutely flawless!
Awesome video. I was lucky enough not only to visit Nakai-San's RWB HQ but to see him build a car in person too. He concentrates so hard but does all the work so effortlessly with literally like 2 power tools. Its so impressive to watch. The fact that he only measures with his eyes just adds to the uniqueness of every single RWB build. He is truly impressive and I'm so glad he's making new cars constantly so his legacy will live on. He was doing this long before the overfender craze become the norm in the car community. A true legend.
She is a thing of beauty!!! She must be one of my favorite i've seen so far. Also Nakai-san seems very at ease with your family, I think he really enjoyed his time there.
dang wish my parents were loaded and could finance akira nakai to come to my house and personally build me a Porsche that my parents bought me and I could vent about how many sacrifices ive made
If you can tell, his dad really wanted it done too. He and his son probably worked on this car for a while, maybe even restoring it. It could have even been handed down to the son. But yeah, the "sacrifice" part was a joke. But you know, whatever. If they're all happy, let them be happy.
Alright, that comment has strong overtones of bitter jealousy. The car guys around here should know what it's like to finally have the car you want, whether you built it from scratch/bought it as-is/hired a shop to build it. If you're fortunate enough to have your parents pitch in to pay for a car of your dreams, have at it. This is supposed to be inspiring, not instill bitterness and jealousy.
I just find it wrong when all the average guys are working their tails off to build their own car, and then som rich kid gets mommy and daddy to buy him a car and then expects to be considered one of us
To put this into perspective, he said he only had to "sacrifice" for a few months. The car, the wheels, the air-ride, the body kit, and nakai himself. Thats well over 100,000 grand in a few months. Im sure none of you understand whats involved with ordering an RWB kit. This kid is absolutely blessed to shit that his Daddy does what he does. Ive honestly never been to a meet, to a club, or to anything that involved someone that was known as daddy sponsored being respected, or throwing down in their vehicle.
There was. "Mr. K" Yutaka Katayama is the father of the Fairlady 240Z concept. He quit Datsun/Nissan in 1975 when his concept was taken over by executives who wanted to change his lightweight sports car into the "Fatlady Z" as he called it. Weighed down with electric windows, electric seats, T-top roofs... all the luxury crap a true sports car wouldn't have. Notably actor Paul Newman had a fairly successful racing career racing Datsun/Nissan Z-cars.
This has to be the sickest vid I've ever scene. There was so much meaning behind this and just not a car build. To appreciate someone and their hard work is priceless!
I have never been more impressed with a car video before. Just pure excellence on the creativity you input into this video. We can all learn a thing or two from it.
As a german it kinda bugs me that he just uses random ass german words. It's really bad translated so i wouldn't wanna have it on my car. Incredible work tho, this is art!
Nailed another one! What I love about Nakai's work is he is the real deal and loves spreading it across the world. We grow up watching these types of guys in anime or reading about it. He is the game, the real back country tuner, the man that can change things into gold with just his hands.
but yours wont be a head turner and will just be a stock 993 which i do respect but hey why be here hating when youre watching this video ? you secretly want a rwd work done also :)
+Carllywal I don't think that "paying for a Japanese guy to come and install a bodykit" qualifies as "talent", and certainly the "talent" related to this video is associated with Japan, not Philadelphia.
I don't know if anybody else, but this is still my favorite RWB video of all time, i really enjoy the other one's but this for some reason still holds a place in my heart, thank you Chris for the amazing content as always
I love how Nakai is just like a regular guy as soon as he gets putts the airport lights up a cig always smoking he's an artist! From another time u rarely get to see anymore no ego! He just does what he does for the love and passion of it and that's why he and his work are loved all around the world!
it most be an amazing feeling having people wanting your name on your own car. video is flawless! Krispy and RWB. two of my biggest inspirations in life came together. thanks for the video. no lie be he is constantly smoking!
A legend just filmed a legend
what make it a legend?
If your friends laughed at you when you told then you wanted an RWB Porsche,
they most definitely are not your friends..
Kings Must Rise thought the same thing . You Couldn't of said it better!
100%
Now-now, lets not get all fascist about wheels.....people like or dislike whatever they damn please, and some people just think of RWB, with its goofy window-sticker and barnyard looks as, well, the Stella Artois of cars :) Don't mean they aint your friends, just that in this particular matter, they find it hard to relate, is all.
Maybe they laughed because of the price tag, but then he went ahead and got it. Good for him. Incredible build as always. I can only imagine how happy this dude is right now :)
@@para_bellum_1984 I think you're right about it being over the price tag.
You put so much passion into this, thank you again for asking me to shoot it with you. Couldn't of had a better time. 💖💖
You guys killed it!
10:00-12:30 was incredible...
cinematography at it's best. not sure who filmed it but it almost made my eye dribble there was that much emotion oozing out of what i was watching.

I'm looking forward to the making-off video. Really interested ;)Also thank you for yet again an awesome video.
This was an amazing and inspirational video. Thank you for releasing something like this!
It just went live make sure to check it out!

Dude you crushed this....This is one of the best I have ever seen on youtube or any other social sites. Keep it up man! You need to be teaching a class!
This film gave me goose bumps as i watched it. God bless Akira Nakai. He seems like such a wonderful human being
WORDS CAN NOT EXPLAIN THE BEAUTY AND ART OF THIS VIDEO
That japanese guy just looks like a LEGEND LOL
Legend enough to be on the new need for speed game lol
he reminded me of like that japanese guy in Tokyio drift but an older verision
Han ?
Nakai is and always will be a legend in the car scene
Legend in any scene. Very cool.
The production in this is incredible.. Felt like an actual movie in theaters...
This. Is. A. Masterpiece.
Artist. Skill. Talent. Passion. Care for his work and devotion to his craft. Das Ist Der Weg.....
Nakai is just bad ass, what a privilege to have him build this car at the owners home. For those that diss the RWB build, it may because they do not understand what it is they are looking at. Its like getting to own your very own early-mid 90's GT2 Evo Porsche Racing Car.

These videos tell a story. Akira Nakai is a G
This is absolutely the best automotive documentary I have ever seen. You and Anthony absolutely destroyed this. Great job, Chris. Good luck in the film festival too!
People watch Nakai working like it is a movie that had you glued to your seat. It is so amazing watching him work.
How can you thumbs down this video...... Krispy, Halycon and everyone who helped with this killed this one!
a person with extraordinary handworks and eye coordination
One of the sickest automotive videos I've ever seen.
after seeing the rwb film this weekend, got a whole new love for both nakai and the cars
This is how Nakai San should be filmed in all his builds. Good job Krispy Media and congratulations to Ben for owning the 1st RWB in Philadelphia! surreal. stunning camera work. incredible build. quality soundtrack selections. close out shoot is perfection.

Erdwins Joseph Yeah I did watch the video. I have yet to find a RWB video that wasn’t amazing!! Love these cars and the craftsmanship that goes into them!!
Great work, everyone involved in making this did phenomenal work. Loved every second of this video!
this video is the best of him. The family is genuine and heartfelt. I remember watching this 6x a day for 3-4 weeks last year. He was just in dallas and now revisting and watching this over again. I am lucky to get something signed and a pick with him. I am honored. The passion lives on.
im glad kid was able to sacrifice partying w his friends lol
Yeah one of many things a person wont regret sacrificing!
Nakai is a genius to say the least. The car and the video is priceless art.
Hi Chris! :D Amazing work you and Anthony Killed it!
Bam!
BAM!!!
BAM!!!!!

Bam
What a masterpiece; both the car and this video.
Not sure what i was more amazed of. Nakai sans work or Ben`s dad nose
Ben's dad's nose is actually an RWB fender flare kit too
Pennywise XD
shut up
@@eeterp32 Hahaha.
Its amazing to see Akira Nakai build a car, the amount of passion he has for every single build I'm speech less.
Amazing work, amazing quality, and amazing soundtrack. You keep getting better and better dude.
Shout out to all the cinematographers that captured not just the car, but the whole experience. You guys did an amazing job telling the story from start to finish! Loved it
GREAT Movie!!
GREAT Car!! (y)
Unbelievable cinematography.
9:45 if you watch haggard garage , you know where to get that splitter
btw sick video man
+Allan lol, bought to pick it up
Dudeee I just watched that video 😂 i was thinking the same thing
RWB is haggard as hell, he cuts away metal and leaves it bare, no new wheel liners. Rattle can paint, self tapping screws, bathroom sealant.
hahah true
I like the way he thinks and his philosophy... great guy!
sick edit man!! For a minute, I thought I was watching a movie
Out of all the Nakai videos I have watch this one has the most meaning, congrats Ben Harmony your passion for beauty and your sacrifices have surely paid off and Nakai-San you are a living legend in your own right, keep up the fantastic works of art.
That's a sick looking Legacy GT wagon at 8:11.
Thats Krispy's I bet
I'm the only one who cry with this videos? Full emotions, full of feelings

I wholeheartedly agree. Also is that an AW11 dash I see as your cover?
Yeah man. My old MR2. Great little car.
+Subject:NoSubject theyre the best hahaha. I sold mine to buy an r34 but it just wasnt the same. Now as of last week im back in the MR2 game :)

+Krispy Media Ayy sick video as always
Of all the RWB builds, this one is legit the best by far. There is just so much more compassion with close friends and family building a car together. This is absolutely flawless!
I usually don't to any comments on youtube, but your video edit is absolutely next level shit! Awesome work!
Very Very Nicee this man is a legend a great video !! :)
2023 and still an awesome video to watch, dude is a legend.
Great work!
Great build!
I'd love to film one here in germany!
Exactly. People can't seem to get over the fact that a lot of other people are wealthier than they are.
Amazing what this man does with a car. Can't wait for the new one coming
is that the real nakai san from NFS15????
+iBoolGuy correct :)
yes
It's amazing how Nakai is so passionate about these cars and how much effort he puts in.
I wish there was someone like Akira, but with Datsuns :D
There was. "Mr. K" Yutaka Katayama is the father of the Fairlady 240Z concept. He quit Datsun/Nissan in 1975 when his concept was taken over by executives who wanted to change his lightweight sports car into the "Fatlady Z" as he called it. I know that Krispy has done a few videos, but I think this is one of the best done RWB videos even among the others that they have done.
i fucking love your videos, and this one make me feel like i'm a part of it! thank you and keep going.
The rwb build is pure art and Japanese craftsmanship is some of the best in the world.👍
Don't hate on the kid just cause he has a loving family that probably bust they're ass off to give him a good life.
so many RWB videos, the one with fully emotional is yours, touch me very much, thanks bro.
If Youre Reading this Have a Good Day :)
You Too =)
How long did it take to upload a 20min 4K video?! 0.o
Dude Akira is a genious! Congrats to Ben for the amazing Porsche
when Nakai san cut the original body you know you are already in the family. its like an initiation to join a gang
Oh yeah, one of his masterpieces but with this video quality!! is major league. congrats to the car owner, krispy team and Akira Nakai. Well done
So basically Nakai does all the work and you have a couple stooges stand around and watch
1 guy hold's Nakai's cigarettes and 1 guy posts to Instagram everytime Nakai moves an inch
That man is an absolute animal.. what a perfect video. It's obvious that he puts his entire heart and mind into each one of the RWB cars.
He should film fast and ferious
BRAZILLLL
Krispy Media NO THIS IS PATRICK
This has to be the sickest vid I've ever scene. There was so much meaning behind this and just not a car build. To appreciate someone and their hard work is priceless!
this dude looks like lord farquaad lost son lmao
Incredible, and Nakais work is just crazy
"it's pretty awesome having your parents pair for your car and douchy hair cut"
you shouldnt be watchin this if thats what youre focused on
Did you not here him say he worked 6-7 days a week for a couple years?

Anthony's Malawi Predators stfu he seems like a nice gentleman and is great full for the car
This is one of the most beautiful thing's I've ever watched.
By supporting the project, does that mean his parents paid for it ?
it doesn't matter
I always love the Handshakes in the end of these builds ♥️
From Mio!

DAMMMNN. Fit and finishes on that rwb is truly amazing. Huge respect for that guy and awesome video as always.
Thanks for raising the value of my stock, non-douched-up 993 another two grand.
exactly, i cried when he cut those wheel arches!
it's like giving Kate Upton triple Z implants.
but yours wont be a head turner and will just be a stock 993 which i do respect but hey why be here hating when youre watching this video ? you secretly want a rwd work done also :)
sour grapes from a dead media also-ran.
Jack Baruth sounds like a douche drives your 993.
Just beautiful... everything about this....
This was a motivation and determination booster for my mental spirits.
thank you very much..
The RWB is suiting in soo many ways....but "Rich White Bitch" seems most appropriate. See what I did there?
I can't imagine the happiness of seeing the lady screw tapped into the body of that car. Nakai creates art for this community.
how much did it cost for him to come out an do that??
My best guess would be $20-30K for just the kit alone
The car it's self isn't cheap so the car plus the kit.. :o and krispy media to make a documentary of it
I'd think around six figures
Ask this guy's mommy and daddy.
+Cetifiably Snuggly you didn't watch the whole video did you...
much respect ... people don't know Philadelphia has some of the most hidden talent in the world !
+Carllywal I don't think that "paying for a Japanese guy to come and install a bodykit" qualifies as "talent", and certainly the "talent" related to this video is associated with Japan, not Philadelphia.
pmodd true but I was just implying about the city ( Philly is coming up in the car scene !! )
I don't know if anybody else, but this is still my favorite RWB video of all time, i really enjoy the other one's but this for some reason still holds a place in my heart, thank you Chris for the amazing content as always
I've watched a lot of car videos, but that is one of the best ever! - Glenn
I love how Nakai is just like a regular guy as soon as he gets putts the airport lights up a cig always smoking he's an artist! From another time u rarely get to see anymore no ego! He just does what he does for the love and passion of it and that's why he and his work are loved all around the world!
For me, this is the BEST RWB build video I have seen. And I've watched a lot of them over the past weeks. Great video.
This is an excellent film. Love it. Nakai is a true legend.
this.. is the best car video i have ever seen..
it most be an amazing feeling having people wanting your name on your own car. video is flawless! Krispy and RWB. two of my biggest inspirations in life came together. thanks for the video. no lie be he is constantly smoking!
