Custom is thin on the ground, and our friends are hired by the luxury perfume salesman, Xi-Wang-Yu, to escort a majestic merchant junk and protect it against dragon attack. Our three hunters join the rest of the crew composed of Bolo, a surly colossus and Ping Yu, a little dragon and distant relation of Hector. After several close calls and an out-and-out attack from a normally peaceful dragon species, Lian-Chu begins to question the hostile dragons’ motives. To him, it is as if something is the hold is attracting them. Our heroes are only too eager to elucidate the mystery before the junk reaches its destination.
