- Contact point changes!
Due to spin which has a certain ‘force’, you must adjust to the situation.
In this particular coaching session, the aim is to change the contact point using the same stroke (FH).
1. Backspin ball, aiming to hit behind the ball around 9-10pm (on a clock ⏰ face)
2. Topspin ball, aiming to hit on top of the ball around 10:30-11:30pm (on a clock face).
3. Adaptation is the tough part of changing the angle, which means changing the technical movement. And in this case, it’s within 0.1-0.4 seconds, a tough ask for many but with practice, it becomes easy and natural.

Absolute welcome 🙏
Thank you Coach! :-) In my first year (some 4+ yrs ago) I did not know the difference between the two, my coach(es) weren't specific in that unfortunately. So now from time to time, I still struggle with this although it's getting better and better.
Yes it’s a mental and then physical adjustment
Key point well highlighted. Making good use of the short videos format!
Thank you 🙏🏓
Noticed the new video "tough placement" had comments turned off. Did not know if you meant to do that. This is just to let you know. Anyway, enjoyed the "tough placement" video also.
I didn’t know, I’ll check and try to fix it, thanks for letting me know 🙏🏓
The third and Fifth ball is where it's at....something drilled into me by my coach....looking forward to developing my efforts with you in the not-to-distant Eli....#TableTennisKeepyUppeyChallenge
