Of course. Of course, Hololive didn't even hear her sing in her audition but got not only an adorable new personality for the EN branch but also got the bonus of her having a lovely singing voice. Of course, they did because somehow they just have the ability to sift through thousands of applicants to find the ones just right for them. Seriously impressive eyes for talent on Hololive's recruiting team my god. And I hope that Mumei gains more confidence in herself, because she has the potential to be a powerhouse singer once she gets the proper space to practice her belting. And beyond singing, she's just a talented entertainer. She's quirky in all of the ways that don't make me cringe, and she has such a modest charm to her that's difficult to put into words but makes the experience of watching her streams so special regardless.

I can relate. I know my singing ability is pretty decent even when I'm not really trying (its really weird how ppl can't seem to understand how pitch and vibrato works which is what most pop singers do to sound impressive). But I do have social anxiety about singing in public and live. Seasonal allergies also complicates things, since its kinda hard to sing the way you want when you have a sore throat and mucus build up blocking your vocal chords.
Still though. Kinda amazed she made it past the audition without having to sing. That said Ame didn't need to either if I recall. So I guess Yagoo saw her charisma and quick wit as something that makes up for it.
Singing after all is a skill that can easily be taught so long as the subject isn't hopelessly tone deaf (which I find is more common than you think).
