lol they are all basically drifting stock cars what do you expect. by stock i mean only lowering springs and a body kit with mainly stock power. nowadays most competition cars have high powered engines/turbo setups with racing coil overs and angle kits.
@@oli1658 they were highly modified for the time being. No body kit, sometimes stock suspension. All the money is put in the engine and exhaust system. it was early era.
@@ef5supercell yeah because back then they didn't have people to tune drift cars or parts developed at the time and back then drifting was considered a racing technique. But I like it it shows that with the right mods you don't need a lot of power and money to drift and it's real gracefull to not much smoke minimal angle and such.
@@renz1013 uh? Yes cars were tuned for drifting. CARBOY had entire magazines called "CHECKUP" where they put cars and vans etc tuned for various things like gymkhana, drift, and rally. It was considered a "thing" in 1987 after Keiichi Tsuchiya made +P
