I have dry, sensitive skin. I started using Dermive Sensitive moisturizer, but it is causing acne to my skin. I am having painful pimples on my face. I am not using different or many products. Can you please guide me why this is happening?
Hello madiha i have used alot of korean moisturizers like illiyoon cermaide, klairs cream and cosxr snail mucin cream. The best one was illiyoon bcz it makes my 3 years damaged barrier healtheir and good. But one problem with illiyoon is that it makes my pores size larger. So after a long time of struggling i tried jenpharm oil free moisturizer and i am blown away by the results. It provide the same reaults as illiyoon, plus i dont know how but it makes my pores size alot smaller without drying out my skin. It has also solve my 3 years big concern of hyperpigmentation around mouth areas (that was gifted to me after messing up my skin batrier). I tried alot of korean vitamin c and niacinamide products to fade my hyperpigmentation but they didn't solve it that much. But solute to this moisturizer that makes my pores shrink, fade my hyperpigmentation and dryness issue. Plus point it costs nothing compared to korean expensivvvve skincare routine. Their tinted sunscreen is also as good as korean sunscreens. So why not try out that and now im gonna try out thier this sensitive moisturizer for my night time routine. I hope this'll help alot of girls who like me have spend alot money on korean brands and wanna have a budget friendly yet effective skincare routine. My skincare routine 1- Hada labo cleansing oil (only makeup days) 2- Rovectine cleanser( jenpharm cleanser for budget) 3- jumiso all day hyaluronic acid toner 4- cosrx snail essence 5- jenpharm moisturizer oil free 6- jenpharm tinted sunscreen By the way the results im sharing regarding moisturizers are authentic as i used it on bare skin without any of toner and essence and see the famtastic reaults. I have used both of their moisturizers but ever since they launched this new product, I never moved to the first one. I have eczema so seeing the label for eczema patients, I had to try it. I have been using it for 2 years now I think, and it's completely lightweight, however in summer it does feel oily and greasy because of my oily and sweaty skin but my acne is controlled because of it. Though I never used it with sunscreen I'm not sure if I should. If anyone has applied it with sunscreen before please do share your experience with me.

Hello, i have the same kind of skin like yours. I am 25.and i have been struggling since long.. The kind of skin care also depends on your affordability... For affordable skincare with amazing results, you can go for Jenpharm. And i if you can afford then incorporate some international products too.. I'll let you know what i use in detail.
So I'll let you know step by step For facewash i had been using Esfolio rose facial foam (you can buy it from naheed or daraz or wholesaler.. Just search on google) i just used it bcz it didn't cause me to breakout bcz i have a very sensitive skin so it is good in that regard bcz it is very gentle, otherwise it just a foaming facewash, doesnt have any extraordinary results so i am planning on stopping its use soon. I also used ponds fruit college aloe vera gel cleanser along with the esfolio one, it used to deep clean my pores but it is short now a days, and it doesn't break me out either. Apart from this no extraordinary results. Now i just bought jenpharm maxdiff facewash for pigmentation and i already feel a difference in a few days so i think it is promising. More over i bought their MandelAC wash too and i feel like it makes a difference... Currently i am just using both the jenpharm facewashes and not really using the other two mentioned above. Next for acne i sometimes use Some by mi Miracle bar (it does dry out your skin so be mindeful before buying it) but honestly except making my pores clean it doesn't really make a big difference regarding acne. For physical exfoliation once a week only, i use esfolio aloe peeling gel. You can find if from same sites as the facewash. It does make the skin soft but dont over do.. Once a week is enough. Next I'll tell you about main skin care.
So I use the some by mi miracle toner (its korean product so its a bit expensive) and it is best for acne prone sensitive skin.. Its hydrating too.. But it'll take a few weeks for your skin to get fully used to it if you're not used to actives bcz it contains mild AHA BHA PHA and they can cause initial purging ... After the toner i have different routines for day and night For day i use in sequence Some by mi miracle cream(korean, expensive, light, hydrating, good for acne n open pores ) Cosrx Snail 96 Essence (korean, expensive, extremely hydrating, barrier repair, its a holy grail for me ) Jenpharm Maxdiff cream (hyperpigmentation, acne spots.. I have used it for 10 days only So far i think it is working) DermiVe sensitive moisturizer(best best moisturizer, very hydrating, repairs skin and makes it so smooth and soft, i love it) And jenpharm spectrablock spf100 if i have to go outside (haven't used it enough to give a review but i am sure its promising)
