Lost Coaster is what happens when a couple coaster engineers eat a bunch of mushrooms and design a coaster lmao. I love it! Definitely one of the weirdest experiences I've ever had on a coaster. Keep making videos! You seem to have a knack for it 😊
Awesome video man, keep up the good work! I’m definitely trying to give this park a visit this year, it seems like a solid coaster collection with many great rides
I stumbled on your channel because I love anything to do with theme parks and coasters. You have a slightly different style to most vloggers and you stand out! Glad to be in your first 500!
Yeah! It’s interesting that those trains are made up of only front cars, but from what I hear, that was done because there are more axels this way. More axels would hypothetically reduce the chance of another “mindbender type” of accident.
I was in the back car on Lost Coaster, didn’t even see you filming! I also walked by in the shot where you were talking to the camera in the planter, I thought you were crazy at first until I noticed the camera lmao. Love the video!
That drop on that woodie looks pretty good. I’m sure the back row gives some good airtime being pulled down the drop This style of vlog is different but really good. Keep-um coming 💯🫵😁👍

6:00 YAS! Love me some 🥰🥰Shivering Timbers🥰🥰!!! Will you be going to the Michigan's Adventure passholder preview on Sunday, last year had super short lines.
Love the video! It has this kind of feel to it where I just want to rewatch and rewatch it. You take me with you on a day, and not just talk and walk around. It’s very satisfying. If I may ask: what tripod and microphone do you use? The quality is devine!
@@antonvelghe6224 thank you!! All of the parts where I’m talking, I’m using a Zoom F2 recorder with the mic that comes with it. For any other shots with sound, I used the Rode Video Micro. Since most parks don’t allow tripods and they’re quite cumbersome, I get creative with where I put the camera. Most of the time, I set it on my camera bag, which I’ll place on garbage cans, tables, or any other surface in the area.
I thoroughly enjoyed this vid man!! I just came back from King's Island a couple days ago, and all it did was make me wanna go to Cedar Point, which of course owns both KI & Michigan's Adventure, your home park. I've been to many different theme parks around the country, and living in Indiana, I've never been able to drag myself to Indiana Beach. Mainly because Holiday World/Splashing Safari is so close, but also because Indiana Beach just doesn't look thrilling enough... but I hafta say, watching this... I do wanna check it out. Thanks again!!
It’s totally worth a visit. I definitely prefer parks like Holiday World, but IB is incredibly unique, charming, and has a fun lineup, even if none of the rides are elite. Absolutely worth checking out!
Great vlog format -- very laid-back vibe! Congrats on getting Lost Coaster as your 100th credit. I'm hoping to do the same making it my 400th credit (but we'll see how that goes... 😅).

Dude! Idk if you’re new or not but this video is awesome! Great editing and goofy. This channel deserves way more subs, and with videos like this I’m sure you’ll get it!
@@NathanT87 Thanks! It differs park by park. Smaller ones like Indiana Beach and Michigan’s Adventure are easy because most rides have bins, and most of them only run one train, so not many people will have access to the bins while I’m on the ride. At Cedar Point I rented an all day locker, and was able to move gear around to points near the major rides. It made it a bit of a hassle to go back and forth between lockers and rides, but worth the added security.
I use to live only like 50 miles from Indiana Beach. I went here so many times when I was a little kid. I remeber old rides they use to have like the red coaster where their giant merry-go round is now. That coaster was fun but nothing special. The Den of lost thieves was always my favorite, and I was too scared to ever go in the haunted house until I was an adult, and that haunted house was silly af. This park feels like a blast from the past always giving me a 80s vibe. I should plan a visit again for a wild nostalgia trip.
Quite a few of the attractions did indeed feel straight out of an 80s midway! Lost Thieves had too long of a line for the time I had remaining, but it looked like such a kooky old shooting dark ride. It’s definitely high on my list of rides to hit when I return!
@@MidcourseDiscourseThe den of lost thieves is a little jank now tbh.. some of the animatronics don't work properly and certain triggers dont work. Unless they've updated it since like 2016 (I hope they have) still it's pretty fun. I don't think I've ever been to another park that had a dark ride/light gun hybrid so the Den of Lost Thieves has a special place in my heart.
I know that when IB bought the ride, the existing vehicles were in such poor condition that they would need to be fully rebuilt. Instead, IB bought Galaxyland’s recently defunct Mindbender trains, which unfortunately brought us the OSTRs as well.
You have an excellent, easygoing style, and I enjoyed the video. Looking forward to more from you. I also love that LoCoSuMo was your hundredth coaster. What a memorable oddball milestone. (I’ve never ridden it, but I remember the discourse in the enthusiast community when they converted it. It’s so unabashedly weird.)

I like these on the spot ride impressions you are giving while still at the park. All while the ride is the freshest in your mind. I have never been here and I only live 4 hours away. It needs to be a priority for me this year. I really want to ride that triple loop. I think I will value the intensity. I didn't know about the OTSRs, I was actually expecting the same trains that Scorpion at BGT use. Maybe that was a bit too optimistic for a coaster that inverts 3 times.
Thanks! Triple Loop is great, and I'll probably like it even more in the future now that I know when to expect certain forceful moments. I know that it has OSTRs because they bought Mindbender's trains. When Triple Loop operated in Mexico, it had Scorpion-type lap bars, with the addition of some sort of safety strap harness - probably much more comfy than the trains we have now!
I love that the Schwarzkopf has gone from Germany to Malaysia to UK to Mexico.... so obviously they'd put "All American" in the name. lol Also, the video has a nice chill vibe to it. Keep it up.
Honestly Lost Coaster is one hell of a 100th coaster. It is my number 3 roller coaster so far because I love the theming, wackiness of it yet how it came so together so beautifully! It is so reridable with the back car giving insane ejector airtime!
I think it was totally the perfect coaster for my 100th! It’s definitely unexpectedly high in my rankings, just because it’s was pure fun! Hoping to get back at some point this year and give Lost Coaster a second go, in the back car!
The problem with IB is that it's land locked. Monticello didn't have very good foresight when they built the town right up against it. And people get disappointed when they visit it, and it's not like Kings Island. But when you see it for what it is. It's not that bad. It's little and cute. A great place if you have children. And if you go in the evening. It's a lovely place for a date
Absolutely, but I also don’t think the park is in a hurry to expand now that Triple Loop is up. If anything, they could reduce the parking lot next to Steel Hawg for more space, but they can’t get rid of it entirely due to the cabins and ADA parking. The park is wonderful. It’s like you said, if you have realistic expectations, it’s a treat.
