All theoretical, which in terms of logistics is very weak. Try and solve 1 day delivery that amazon already provides. You need data, and actual involvement. The mere fact that "it works in china so it should work here too" is very naive and needs further study. In a more business language, you need more numbers, real numbers.
Parcel lockers are a sensible solution. But the fact will still remain that people don't want to leave their house. I mean at all.. lol. A lot of people are so lazy that they won't even empty out their mailbox on a daily basis.
We have a lot of DHL lockers in Germany. They work crazily well for me as I am mostly in the office when the delivery comes.
