I adore you guys, so I am not trying to be rude or offensive, just honest; About the whole parent switch thing, I feel it IS fair NOT to switch. When Sarah says "it's not your fault you have a child", it actually technically is your fault. You chose to birth another human, thusly your choosing the consequences to go with it. What is not fair is for those of us who can not have kids, having to be treated less than those who do have kids. We don't get special ride privileges. We also have to pick up slack at work for those who have to take it off or get off early or come in late due to their kids, etc. We also don't get as much help or priority help when it comes to government assistance. We childless are often treated as second class citizens. So yeah, it's not fair. I feel if someone can have kids and chose to birth or raise the kids, they solely should be responsible for all the consequences of it. Again, not being rude because I do love you all so very much. Just being honest with my feelings on the matter. That being said, it's just a ride and really not something to actually get worked up about. I'm just stating as an overall concept of childless people vs. Parents/ gaurdians. Lol. Anyways,I hope you all did have a beautiful time despite the queues. I can not wait to see more holiday adventures! 😍 🥰💜
Everyone is paying the same to enter the theme park. Alton towers don't exactly have a discounted non rider ticket. Everyone should have the opportunity to ride. The queue times and Alton towers operation hours make it extremely difficult for everyone in a family to ride in a day. Someone from the family is queuing the designated wait time, I honestly see nothing wrong with rider switch. Stating that it's unfair on people who can't have children doesn't make sense as like I said someone is always queuing the designated queue time. It just means that one parent has to wait hrs outside a queue trying to get their baby to sleep and the other waits in the queue. THEY ARE STILL WAITING! I'm sure you would complain if the theme park allowed parents to bring their prams in the queue too.
Wow.I could not believe you think adults without kids should get better treatment! Having kids doesn’t mean you should have to give up things you like doing. Your post was just rude. And it’s not someone else ps fault with kids that you can’t have kids. They should not be punished for that
@@nancyfarkas3592 just like the childless should not be punished because of people who do have children.im saying parents/ gaurdians should be treated exactly equally to the childless. Wait in line just like the rest of us.Smfh. Get a clue
@@nancyfarkas3592 Seriously? Nobody blamed anyone for the inability to have children. I think that you didn't quite understand the comment. Part of being a parent is making sacrifices for your children. If you choose to bring such young children to the park then I think that it is reasonable to expect to make some sacrifices. If riding the big rides is important to parents then they can opt to leave the youngest ones with a babysitter or in the care of a relative. And it's not like Sarah was stuck doing nothing while Chris and the older girls did the big ride. She was riding rides with the youngest two. Not getting parent switches is totally first world problems.
I wasn't being hateful, just genuinely curious coz if they don't use the bathroom in the van they could scrap it and add more storage in that nook somehow for the longer trips x
I’m not sure if you already know about this but Alton Towers offer a ‘rainy day guarantee’ so if it rains continuously for more than 1 hour you can get a free return ticket! It’s on their website so be worth you checking it out as it looked like it rained a lot whilst you were there!
Thorpe park is so much fun! Used to go there all the time as a kid, there are rides for all ages and all the big rides are super fun. Better than Alton towers in my opinion !! 🥰
Well done Isla for bossing those big rides. She's so brave. She's been desperate to ride the bigger rides the last couple times you've been here and I remember last time ot the time before she got quite upset because she was too short!
Thorpe Park fright nights is so good but now the girls can go on everything they would love the rides. We’re off to services day at Thorpe Park and it’s a fab day! X
You should visit Paultons park if your ever in that area. Peppa pig world would be great for jace and mila but i loved it still and am Izzys age. The rest of the park has loads for everyone to do with kids rides near the thrill ones . Its so good.
Gracious isla you are so brave going on those rides. Just watching it makes me queasy. Southend advebture island are doing a halloween thing. I do enjoy your vlogs. Keep up the good work . God bless xxxx
Can’t believe the wait times for the rides! I was there two weeks ago and we didn’t have to wait longer than 10 mins for all the big rides and it was still scarefest! We must’ve been lucky and chose a quiet day 🤷🏼♀️
It's a huge shame Alton towers don't do parent switch at the moment. We are Merlin Annual pass holders and have an 18 month old. We tend to have to take my parents with us to watch him or someone misses out. It's pushing people to buy the fast passes which is incredibly unfair. Disney are a great example of rider switch. I don't understand why people say 'You shouldnt get privileges just because you have a kid.' It's not exactly a privilege, it just makes life easier as a parent in somewhere that is supposed to cater for families. I've done theme parks before having a child and I never had an issue with parent swap.
Towers especially is bad for over estimating ride ques especially on busy days , I have the disabled ride access pass and even that is bad I’ve seen families abuse it and it’s not nice at all. I only visit now mid week 😢
Go to Chesington it a theme park with water rides Rollercoasters and there’s this water ride called the grafllo ride it’s kind of scary but it was good I went there on a school trip in year six I’m in year 7 now and chesington is the best theme park ever would highly recommend it
Today we have been to York and visited the York dungeons and walked around the through the shambles and visited the Harry Potter shops etc. The girls would love going here and there’s so much history in York, would be a good trip to make and learn about their history. So jealous of you guys at Alton Towers, can’t wait for us to go to scarefest next year xx
When you come to Germany again or even Black Forest, you should go to Europapark Rust 😍 so cool for mit and littles 😍 it's quite expensive but when you go on week days and not in Germany's holiday season you can do so much 😍
I went to Alton Towers last weekend it was amazing hundred percent agree with the queues. I’ve been to Thorpe Park but just hasn’t been in Halloween. Love watching your videos ❤️
Loved these Scarefest vlogs, and so glad u had a fun time. Thorpe Park is more for older kids and adults ( there are some rides for the littlies but not many) Chessington would be better for your two little ones.
Thorpe park is amazing. Definitely worth going with the little ones. In-between a big ride there's one for little ones so they don't have to wait around as much. Fab vlog 😍 xxx
Also we’ve just learned of “national trust cards” for families etc. It gets you into loads of places free, it’s £133 for your whole family. 100% worth it xx
I agree with you guys... it's families that they make they're money from... that's the least they should do... they could definitely loose customers... especially when every other theme park gives you the option of parent switching...!! love you all xxxxxxx
I used to love Drayton manor we used to go their a lot in the 1990s one of the first big theme parks I went too , haven't been back in years but would love to revisit , really want to go to Alton Towers too haven't been to a theme park in about 20 years
Enjoyed watching your first Alton Towers vlog, and will enjoy this one too. Last time I went to Alton Towers was about 20 years ago I remember riding Air and I loved Nemisis , ordered some of your space themed merch, for my friends Christmas present. Looking forward to more of your vlogs, from the UK although I do enjoy your travel vlog too.
I’d love to go to Alton towers and Thorpe park as i love rides😂 only big theme park I’ve been to is Oakwood which is like a two- three bourse from where I live
I always sing your intro whenever I click on your videos automatically it’s such a huge part of growing up and watching your Channel “won’t you take it for a ride I would love the feeling I feeling my hair while speeding on the highway down by the sea we go ahahahah” and #juicy pineapple

So funny..... you guys are all jacked up.on sugar and coffee. You can tell with how fast and loud you are talking 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Why did the girls not use the vans toilet? x
To save them emptying it maybe!
My what a question

@@rachmoo7346 they do use it when they are wild camping, but if actual toilets are available they use those.
They probably use it in the night and wild camping when public ones are available then they probably use them!
If you want to skip the queue you could buy a fast pass
I real love your family i watched it when you all where on the road trip and now i get exited when you come on
