Moniece's "what if" conversation with Fizz was deep and real. After all the trauma they been through, to finally get to where they should've been all these years, hit in the feelings. It was an exchange that needed to happen to close that chapter. I see how it can read wrong to people, but sometimes we have to stop operating from our ego and look at things as what it is for that person. Moniece and Rich should've had an open and honest conversation about what her exchange with Fizz stemmed from. We don't always allow for safe space conversations with our loved ones in the way we think we do.
She should've had that conversation off camera honestly. I'm not with the father of my child and feel like if he ever had this conversation with me I would respect it and want to be with someone mature enough to understand it. But I would tell my partner as well. Not have them find out from someone else. My child's father gf has come to me plenty of times expressing her feelings and I never repeat it to him. I allow her to vent and leave it at that. We are all human but he did change for her that's the sad part so I understand his feeling of betrayal.

Tho I believe she loved and cared for rich, I also believed she was relieved.
In that scene, most women would have gone after the other person, cried, had some form of her emotion, but her response was Nicki got a death wish.

It wasn’t her place to tell him anything I’m sure as honest as moniece is she was going to tell rich how she felt.
