- President Barack Obama was given a farewell by the Armed Forces with a Full Honour Review ceremony. During his speech, Obama paid tribute to the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces calling it the greatest privilege of his presidency to have served as their Commander-in-chief

Hostile comments keep drumming up the split in America and are based on a lack of understanding. For example, my son, who is in the military and many of his friends did really like Obama. They respected his intelligence and all the good things he did in the world. They were not happy to see him go. Just throwing negative remarks out into the world does nothing more than create more division and hostility. Constructive actions and speech create something good in the world. Take that energy and say positive things and take positive actions that care for your family, for your community, and the people of the world. Donald Trump is not my choice for president--but I don't make public derogatory remarks about him. In fact I appreciate that he is negotiating with North Korea even though I am not happy about what is happening to children on the border. Every human being is a mixture of positive and negative. No one (well maybe a few) is all bad or all good. We have to have a civilized discussion if we are to get anywhere together. We have to work across the isles whether we are republicans, democrats, democratic socialists or independents and find a way to work out some of our issues as a nation.

Want to see something strange? Compare this view of when Obama come in and shakes the hand of the man introducing him vs the PBS "version" where Obama enters and moves next to this same man, who is standing close to two other people but not next to them. You can see that the view was manipulated in the PBS version because if you look closely you can see the man was added as a cut and paste (look at the hair and the edges around him) and Obama's walking image was moved between the three people yet none of them even makes any movement to make room for him. Plus, you can see a much larger crowd from where Obama is speaking in that version. They disabled the comments in the PBS "version", I'm betting because they did such a bad job manipulating the whole thing. I'm talking the first couple of minutes, so if you go there you won't waste too much time watching the FAKE version.
