I like it when hands were tied to post control and/or ball handles. It’s ridiculous to think that as a big you don’t want to prioritize ball handles because your role dictate otherwise.
As much as this may be true, as a .9 player Ive shoot 65%+ on my main lock with 25 ball handle. Don’t look to much into this or let it effect your build!
Yes! Not only does it help you shoot better, it also helps you catch errant passes faster and with less clumsiness. It will help you get your footing after catching a tough pass faster to potentially prevent yourself from going out of bounds. That’s why I always put some ball handle on my big’s. Even if I have no speed with ball, I like the ball handle stat on bigs to gain control of the ball better after catching a pass, whether on the perimeter or in the paint.
Pass accuracy plays an equal part in this. I noticed while playing on my center with no pass vs my center with 77 pass that the guys with low ball handle is more likely to get a bad catch animation on outlet or long passes vs someone with high ball handle.
No other gamea gives me "buyers regret" like this game You make a build then learn something new or latency makes you play bad and you just hate that you either spent money or spent time grinding. Im not buying the next one. When i actually started playing other games i was fine and could ignore 2k
When you show the difference between the catch animations of the different ball handles overalls you should show like the difference between realistic number like 92 ball handle to 86 ball handle since 90% of guards have between those two overalls not 99 ball handle compared to 25
Hmm...🤔....You might just bring me back to nba2k... you've been very consistent when it comes to the mechanics and badges of the game and I appreciate that👍🏿... I kind of have an idea of what to invest in with my build... Plus it's free with game pass now, so I don't mind spending about 60-70 bucks on a MyPlayer, then grinding the rest out
Can you do a study on the effectiveness of release height on shot success? And if strength effects shot success? I see tall forwards with low 3 rating hitting insane shots
Do you think hand rating being tied to only ball handle is dumb? If I make a lockdown I’m more than likely not going to upgrade ball handle but I will steals and you need good hands to get steals also🤔
@@MellyVilleYT make a shit with low timing then make one with high and you’ll see the difference the lower it is the more of flick the release is if that makes sense
The crazy part about this is it's exactly the opposite of what it should be. The off-ball shooters who don't dribble much now have to spec into an unneeded stat to be effective shooters. Meanwhile combo guards just get a stat (hands) that they'll almost never use. And none of that takes rolling bigs into account. What pick and roll big is realistically taking ball handle for good catch animations? This nonsense explains so much. Good video; bad 2k.
I got 2k24 because it’s on Ps plus and I refuse to give a dime to 2k as they believe every player’s time is worthless. Even for free I don’t like this game the servers are rubbish, delay is so bad, shooting 1.5 seconds after I shoot. How come this is the only game with big budget that has rubbish servers.
@@StickyFingerss Yes. Nobody in the NBA hits more than 47% of their 3s so we shouldn’t have players hitting 60% or above in 2k. Do you watch basketball?
@@stewiegriffinfan18 2k is game not real basketball there has to be a fun factor to it,47% from 3 with high 90's shooting would be terrible gameplay no one would enjoy it
@@StickyFingerss You just asked if I watch basketball and you immediately change your position. And yes, they would. Dennis Rodman is quite entertaining to watch. It would add more dimension to the game, which is what 2k did this year. They made floaters, scoopers, and middy fades so you don’t have to just keep chucking 3s

So, essentially glue hands is still in the game, it's just not a badge, is based on the same attribute, ball handling as previously.
exactly..This is the stat that Glue Hands badge is boosting.

Love the videos, but been deleted this game. NCAA 24 & GTA 6 is our only savior
wow thanks for still clicking on this video then!
Oh lord. More "I don't play anymore so look at me" posts
@@theyreruiningusaat least he is commented n is helping the algorithm.
NCAA is made by EA 😂 it wont play any different than madden
Roblox exists
Can you see if this effects lane steals too ?
So what difference would passing/ball handling boosts make?
That’s why my 6 foot build be going crazy 😂
😂 remember back in the the day we was boosting our shot i.Q be going to practice nba 2k17 was top 3 besides the Paul George loading screen 😂😂
Hey tutes good question maybe another video. So if hands boost your shooting then what perimeter attribute do u need to stop tht
Stopped playing 2k24 because it's terrible, but supporting Tutes, Always.
Facts
Orrrrrr put on Embiid as your triple threat style to shoot quicker and even better be holding LT/L2 before you get the ball
Does triple threat style impact this transition as well?
No they don’t. He made a vid on that
no
2k should should definitely tie those catch animations to the shooting attribute instead.
How about offense consistency?
What’s the sweet spot?
2k making the dumbest fking game design choices

Dimer, Range, fatigue, contest, timing impact are the main things to look for

You shouldn’t need a lan cable, .5 ms monitor and a usb charger to play a video game 😂😂
You shouldn't, but it helps lol^
So pretty much they just screw over the bigs!
Bigs should not be able to hit from 3. They mess with the bigs more by forcing them to guard the perimeter

2k having hidden ratings and not letting us edit our builds after upgrading is such a scam
I don't feel this is that big of a deal. I'm a lock down spot up with virtually non existent ball handling. I shoot 67 percent.
Thats not true i have 95 ball handle. 64 pg and still has trouble receiving passes clean especially in full court passes in tran
I think it is the pass accuracy and dimer not ball handle lol
Xbox delay is bullsh… on 2k24
It’s bad on both consoles
2k is full of it, if you look at any nba player in the roster & you'll see that all of they're hand rating is way higher than the ball handle
Just make a 99 3pt build if you care about shooting so much problem solved
We knew this already. Thank you for the verification. Your vids always clutch.
Love yall work, but this is pointless lol
