Love this makeover, the grungey 90s style is so perfect for them and the little clutter details make it feel so real and lived-in! For a baby girl's room, I usually end up splitting Brandi's room into 2 smaller rooms, it's a bit of a squeeze but just about do-able
This is great job, keeping mismatched furniture is realistic like they're from charity shops or donated from friends. I feel like it looks like it would smell too, maybe damp and dusty. The boys room is my favourite.
I imagined it would have a mild pee smell since stray cats would live under the trailer (I know that's not possible in game, but that's literally my house) and Brandi keeps giving them food
I adore it, reminds me so much of my style. I expected a cookie cutter modern colorful renovation like 90% of simmers but I was pleasantly (no pun intended) surprised. Please drop your CC list cause I have too much modern and luxury clutter but little to no the every day stuff.

I am playing Pleasantview and right now Brandi lives with her new husband and the third son that I've named Paulie. Dustin is married to Cassandra Goth, and they had their first mutual child Bella. Beau is off to college. She's now financially stable, and I kept expanding the trailer into a house, to kind of symbolize her personal growth.
I remade this family in my Sims 4 game. The whole family is together including Skip. Plus I made a few improvements to their home, but for the most part I kept it recognizable

Most of my bedding is by platinum aspiration on Tumblr! They recently converted most of the beds and bedding from The Sims 4, and they have a lot of other great conversions as well :)
I have it to where Brandi fills in the pool. It at least gives some extra Simoleons. Never thought to give the Brokes green carpet tho. Not that it matters, since in my game, Brandi married Darren Dreamer (he's such a a good stepdad to Beau and Bailey Jo)
Hi, new subscriber here, I was wondering if you have problems with launching your game with the EA app, have you tried the RPC launcher? It’s a sims 2 launcher with some extra features added to the game, like changing the lot imposter quality, have ocean water reflection on non beach lots, basically game graphics changes and some in game changes, like the possibility to not have personality points restricted to the zodiac system and to change the price of the redesign tool. Also the ability to change the way the game loads up (borderless/full screen/windowed), which might help with your launching problem ^_^ great video by the way!
I’ve looked into the RPC launcher before but decided not to download it because (if I’m not mistaken) you have to have a cracked version of the game, and I lucked out a few years back and was able to download the ultimate collection for free on origin. The issue with my game not launching seems to be random, and so far I’ve been able to fix it every time by deleting the cache files. I know a lot of people really like the RPC launcher though so I’ll definitely look into it more! And thank you for the advice! ❤️
@@gothicowplants I don’t think you need a cracked version of the game for it to work, I used it with my discs :3 I had a problem with it at first because I kept The Sims 2 store edition, but I removed that and it worked like a charm! ^_^

In the vanilla game it's always a boy, and always a clone of Brandi's genetics because Skip is unlinked. A lot of people download clean template neighborhoods where a lot of the Maxis issues are fixed, one of them being that Skip is now linked and the baby can be a boy or a girl and have skips genetics.
