Beautiful video, my whole training of kickboxing, bjj, heavy sandbag lifting, calisthenics training and running is inspired by my desire to become peakhumans like Batman and Bane. Now the two best things you wanna grease the groove on, if you wanna become strong like Batman is *sandbag overhead press (full rom)* and *sandbag floor clean to standing hold* The heavier you can go in those two, the stronger you will be. If you can do those two things with 400lbs sandbags????? You will be peaking guys up and throwing them around. Hey Adam, can you do a video on black widow's intelligence training (like hacking, threat assessment, martial arts) it would be nice if you do a femal superhero😊
I'd be careful with Tech like Halo, I don't know jack shit but when it comes to sleep our body is the smartest tech there is. Finding ways to create the same effect naturally might be a better solution, stuff like cold showers before bed are a great simple way to enter into the brainstem and quiet the mind before sleep.
I get too warm from cold showers so I do them in the morning. If I did them before bed I'd be sweating! Love them though. My friend does Wim Hof method, gets a group together every week to do ice baths outside in the Colorado Winter.
I've been either studying ,training, practicing, experimenting with, or pondering martial arts, martial science and self defense for over 34 years. I'm 47. I'm going to tell you something someone doesn't tell you enough. You need more body consciousness when you punch. You appear to be concentrating so much on generating power in your boxing training that you compromise control. Whatever hand you're punching with, you drop the opposite hand upon impact. I'm inclined to believe your first exposure to a martial art was one that emphasized kicking ? It's historically easier for a person who has started with boxing to transition into a kicking art than the opposite. It has something to do with the way the brain wires itself. To your credit you are an athlete, bodybuilder, martial artist, Entrepreneur and disciple of Batman and superheroes all rolled into one! I have tried to be a part of the real life superhero project. My heavier weight and sensitivity to temperature has made that challenging, plus I think the heroes are getting as old as I, I only hope they have done so so gracefully. Cheers!
man you’re vida are awesome lmao the ben affleck batman wasn’t even buff, i mean his suit was huge, but when you see ben afflecks body for those movies, it just seems like the only transformation he did, was lay off the bottle and dude a few pull ups and push ups.
It’s because America is fat now and the people who are athletic and lift weights often don’t care about this sort of thing. His subs is just a reflection of society.
Another great video! Question: I've noticed the screen sometimes flashes red on your videos, like around 2:20 and 3:44 in this one. Is this intentional, or an artifact of video processing or what?
Not sure why I've never had the epiphany before but, the more of the Batman and Bruce Lee videos I watch here (the ONLY channel that goes into such depth of training details that I've found!), the more I realize Batman (the character) is very closely based on Bruce Lee (the human(?))! This is in reference to the amount of training, both physically and mentally. Also, in finding ways to make time spent in training is used more efficiently and effectively. Loved the video, as always. Another epiphany I've had, is that I'm not as much interested in the Batman potential training techniques (though am always interested in learning more), but I'm fascinated in finding out what YOU have learned and incorporated. I've read many books, blogs, and articles, as well as watched many trainers and videos, but the MOST complete fitness persona seems to be you. May I ask, how do you find concepts that you haven't covered? Also, how do you find the peer-reviewed research for them? I.e. the sounds during training and recorded playback to activate the spindles to "hack" the skills learning process? Thank you for all that you do and I understand if you aren't able to get back to the question due to your busy schedule, I appreciate the knowledge gained already through the video.
In more recent years, you mean? Obviously, he wouldn't intentionally be influenced by Lee in 1939, so i assume in more recent decades, the philosophy of Bruce, as far as training goes at at least, was adapted to Batmans background.
