Goddamn I love the detail you guys put into everything. Visual injuries (even on skeletons!), beautiful hand drawn weapons and armour, creatures actually acting how you'd expect them to act (zombies mindlessly walk into your spearwall while skeletons advance slowly with shields raised and humans react to fear). All these things make such a difference. Can see myself losing many, many hours to this game soon.

I find luring large groups of enemy (eliminate what's terrorizing town X quests) to town garrisons, wandering caravans or even bandits will allow you to complete much higher level quests than you could otherwise.
Just the other day I got a contract from a noble house to go stop some orcs that were marauding another of their towns. I trekked there and arrived just in time to see one of their soldier companies beat the shit out of the orcs, shrugged and returned. Easy money!
Yeah. It's almost an exploit at this point. Maybe change a few of these contracts to stationary mobs? I'm more worried about attacking bandits in hills (bloody archers) than marauding orcs right now.
Your playstyle in these would drive me crazy. Constantly in fear of starvation or bankruptcy, lol. I always load up the first 6 guys, maybe a 7th and run until those fellows have 'decent' gear and I have a buffer of money and food before hiring more. :P
What about more maps depending on where the event occurs and if you are attacking a fort or whatever? Clearly that ancient dead fight should have been inside a room but it turned out to be in the plains, that's kinda immersion breaking to be honest, do you guys have anything planned for that?
We had plans for that but it is a lot of work for something mostly cosmetic so it was always down on our priority list. In the end we unfortunately had to cut it to be able to include other, more essential features.
I think it would be good to increase the distance between the player's troops and enemy troops when we attack the hideout, whenever I attack I end up being hit by enemy archers in the first round, and no captain would park his troops so close to the enemy archers.
Is it possible to add an inventory button to the menu before fight? It is happen sometimes that enemy is attacking and I forgot to change the equipment to more appropriate. Or even more often happen that my archers holds a mellee weapon after previous fight and so I have to waste action points to swap it on ranged weapon in the beggining of battle. PS: sorry if that question already being raised.
Sometimes I feel soooo frutrated with this game. I love it, but random shit happens xD. One caravan escort contract. 6 mercenaries. Company wiped out after defending the caravan against 4 consecutive waves of brigands and raiders.
We try everything to reduce frustrating moments like these as much as possible. However, with an open world sandbox like ours you can never get totally rid of them without making the game too linear
It's ok! At the moment I felt really stressed and disapointed, but things like that make the game great. After that, I just started a new company to rule the map :D

If a person gets really stressed there, the game rolls the dice to reveal if he was broken by it or overcame it, earning a negative or a positive perk. Like, imagine a surrounded Brother fighting for his life in a last stand instead of fleeing, raising the morale of other Brethren.

Warum lasst ihr die Community das Spiel nicht übersetzen. Ihr machtet die Übersetzung am Commerziellen Erfolg aus. Schaut euch mal die Leute von Klei Entertainment an. Workshop aktiviert und die Übersetzung durch die Community. Nehmt mal Oblivion - ein unterdurchschnittliches Spiel - nur gut durch die Community. Und ihr schließt sie aus - dadurch auch Kunden - denn gerade bei einem Solchen Umfang von Worten ist es schwierig wenn man nicht gut deutsch kann. Aber selbst in den 80er und 90er gab es ne Menge Spiele welche nur mit deutschen Handbuch geliefert wurden. Ihr habt eines gemacht. Nicht mal eine Deutsche Wiki oder ein deutsches Lets Play. Das ist einfach wirtschaftlich gesehen schon so dumm, dass es scheint, das euer Ziel im hauptsächlichen Zweck nicht die größtmögliche Vermarktung war, sonder ihr einfach abschließen wolltet. Allein die Übersetzung der Community in Asiatische Sprachen hätten euch ne Millionen mehr geben können. Grade die Japaner mögen die Deutschen Namen und hard core Games. Scheinbar ein Geniales Spiel - schlechte Vermarktung - und kein Enthusiasmus

Aw, shame that the series seems to be over, I was really into it. Good demo of the game though.
Great game! Got it on day one, it has a very tactical and satisfying gameplay. A true hidden treasure. Keep it up!

Hey, I have a favorite seed I like playing at the moment will it work with the new DLC?
As we have a 25% bigger worldmap with more settlements and the new legendary locations and the taxidermist new seeds are needed for the DLC.

Moral is fine. It helps a lot when fighting high level enemies. The game supposed to be fun, not a real-life simulation.
Broken morale means the person is panicking and not thinking rationally.
