it wasn't an amplifier, it was a filter the amplifier was the anti-wave lattice in the yamato's engine the big thing was dessler's ship, the the wmg could reap the benefits of the anti wave lattice without the downside of crippling the ship the moment they try to fire

最大距離のワープに波動エンジンがエネルギーを貯める時間が必要で、一日のワープ回数に制限があってその最短の航程でも200日以上（諸説あり）となれば、そのエネルギーを使ってしまう波動砲を使うのはここぞ！になるのは必然。

旧作だけど波動砲を撃つと同時に重力アンカーを作動させて反動を相殺させていました。
反動を相殺せず、波動砲の反動でトラップから脱出するシーンもありました。
どっちも2199にありますよ〜

1:26~の波動砲は打ったあとに重力アンカー外すシーンがカットされてるけど1:50くらいからアンカー外して反動でワープゲートに反動突入してる

@@緑ノ里 2205は波動エンジンには手を加えずに砲口形状を最適化しただけで拡大波動砲レベルになった。恐らく2199時点で木星に直接撃っても吹き飛ばせたと思う かすっただけで抉られていたので。
旧第一作だと大陸消し去る程度でリメイク版の波動砲は惑星質量と同等のエネルギー持ってるから惑星1つ丸ごと消せる
