Took my mom out on a little day trip, lunch and icecream snd helped her with errands, enjoyed a cigar with her. I'm giving my dad shrooms for Father's Day.
Being a father is a thankless job, especially if you're on the lower end of the socioeconomic spectrum and are forced to work constantly just to keep your family housed and fed. When i was young I hated my dad because he was always working and grinding, but the older I got I realized just how much of his life and energy he sacrificed so that my mom could stay home and play house. I realized at like 21 that my my dad sacrificed way more for me than my mother ever did and never even asked for a thank you. My mom though? Pfft, she wouldn't do shvt for anyone without receiving praise and validation in exchange.
@@DivinityAwakenedsounds like you should seek therapy for your mommy issues. There’s a reason why so many people are thankful af for their moms because most of us have moms that sacrificed every damn thing for us. Sure, dad worked hard and paid bills (but that’s a part of being an adult so he’d be paying bills whether we were there or not). It’s the person who is there day in and day out taking care of your every single need, that gives up their everyday life to ensure you are well taken care of, etc., that sacrifices the most. & most of us don’t have moms who ask for validation. My mom has never once asked for validation or appreciation. I appreciate both of my parents so much but I know damn well my mom did so much more of the parenting than my dad did. Most mothers do 90% of the parenting so of course children will appreciate that when they get older and realize what their mom did for them. Makes it even worse that now MAJORITY of moms work and pay bills too yet moms are still doing the overwhelming majority of parenting on top of being providers. Makes it seem like an excuse that dads do nothing but work and think that’s all they have to do to provide when you have moms out here proving that working is not an excuse to not be present with your kids daily and partake in their daily care. 🤷🏼♀️
Of course in not all families the father worked a lot and focused on that but in mine that was the case. I appreciate my mother as always but growing up I realized hoe all of that would have mattered way less if ai didn't have financial stability. Knowing that my house had electricity, gas, internet, knowing when the salary came we would be able to do shopping for groceries for the month knowing I will be able to pay to go to school, have clothes, ask them to drive me somewhere etc. Working is WAY harder than people give credit for and doing it every day, wirh a couple weeks off in the whole year, for decades is DEFINETLY not easy
My problem is just that idfk what to get my dad. He’s a regular guy and everything he wants he gets himself and gets a little prideful otherwise. I understand but like…cmon man!!!!!!
It's always the opposite in my house. Every year my mom waits on my dad to give a damn and he doesn't. After that no matter what anyone else does she still be sour AF. Father's Day on the other hand she makes a huge deal of (big cookout and gifts) always cooks exactly what he wants and makes sure no one bothers him all day. Then at the end of the day she sour again and complaining about things not being even.
@@DiligentThroat Not really. Just cuz ur father's bad doesnt mean everyone's is. And the ones that are good, arent really appreciated as much as they should be.

Took my mom out on a little day trip, lunch and icecream snd helped her with errands, enjoyed a cigar with her. I'm giving my dad shrooms for Father's Day.
So that's why they be leaving for milk and cigarettes
shi prolly

Being a father is a thankless job, especially if you're on the lower end of the socioeconomic spectrum and are forced to work constantly just to keep your family housed and fed. When i was young I hated my dad because he was always working and grinding, but the older I got I realized just how much of his life and energy he sacrificed so that my mom could stay home and play house. I realized at like 21 that my my dad sacrificed way more for me than my mother ever did and never even asked for a thank you. My mom though? Pfft, she wouldn't do shvt for anyone without receiving praise and validation in exchange.
@@DivinityAwakenedcan I have your dad mines broken
I simply said "thank you dad", gave him a hug and an ice cold tallboy that had my pops in tears, Dads don't need a lot to feel appreciated.
I feel like dads are happy enough you remember at all haha
I feel this on such a level it's unreal lmao
"Dad, I bought you a brand new car!" Dad:😊
"Hey Dad, I got this pair of socks I thought you might like them" Dad:✨️😍🥰❤💗🤑😊❤✨️
The face after "brand new car!" Reminded me of "you are now one of my elite employees!" 😂😂😂
Socks and New Balances hit different for the old man
My problem is just that idfk what to get my dad.
Then at the end of the day she sour again and complaining about things not being even.
the “gah dayum” in the background 😂😂im dead
Got my dad a mug a few years ago and he uses it every morning for his coffee. Dads really just love the simplistic gifts
His dad after the door close
“Omg, I been looking for this shoe for months”
“Omg there’s no toilet paper left”
“I love this damn kid so much”
Fathers deserve more.
They reap what they sow.
@@DiligentThroat Not really. Just cuz ur father's bad doesnt mean everyone's is. And the ones that are good, arent really appreciated as much as they should be.
@@fraydizs7302”Absent” doesn’t just me physically not there, it’s about actually being active in your child’s mental, emotional and physical well being. Most fathers don’t even know their kid’s pediatricians name bc they think it’s their wives job. So if fathers want people to give a damn about their day, they have to give a damn about their kids first lol.
@@chikari123 if yall want fathers to give a damn abkut putting food and a roof over yall damn head than yall should give a damn about him regardless amd show him love and respect for what he sacrifices amd does. tf?. Nah but I be treating my mom AND dad lavish on their days 💀😭 cuz I forgot his birthday one time and that time still haunts me he looked so sad but tried hiding it and shit, I gotta make that ish up for eternity now.
I swear all dads be acting like they don’t want anything but I still be spoiling mine
Some people be failing their fathers on fathers day
Fax
One year i straight up didnt do shit for fathers day
You know that dad loved it tho 😂
my dad complained i was making my mom a pie, asked if i was gonna do the same for Father's day. i told him if my cranium made him pee when he coughed i might but even then probably not.
You sound intolerable lmao I pity your father
Damn. Dude should have left for cigarettes
The milk looks real good rn
It’s in the name… simp.. 😂
@@DivinityAwakened lmao I wish that bum would've left. a deadbeat is better than a woman beater. but he can't even afford his own cigs so I guess that's why he's still in my grandma's house at 63

Then we got the single moms that be tryna double dip "happy fathers day to me cuz I have to be the mom and the dad" looking ah
thats my mom lol, its lowkey warranted tho cus he left when i was six
Well they technically did. 😭
Bitter cuz they picked foodstamps an support over a man in.the house

At this point us as “Fathers” just gatta appreciate each other man lmao
As a man think about how many times you get gifts…… this is why dads always appreciate it no matter what 😂😂😂
You have been promoted! You are now one of my ELITE MOMS
Father's Day is difficult for me because I genuinely don't know what to get him. He's not the materialistic sort and everything he wants, he already has. And he doesn't talk about his interests often. But he seems content if I spend time with him. I feel bad bc idk if that's enough.
yo i’m ngl i’ve been seeing your videos for years now and you always cracking me up bro keep doing yo thing 🖤
