      60 Minutes is a shady parody of what it used to be, this segment doesn't change anything. Now Scott Pelley and crew can get back to interviewing entertainers and athletes, so they don't lose their brain-rot audience.

      My uncle serviced 2 tours of Vietnam managed to live the next 40 years with a positive outlook and the agent orange took his life. In a matter of months the cancer shriveled him up in many different forms including stage 4 bone cancer which traveled to his brain. Not only do i miss this man but i still have nightmares for what he went through. He was a patriot until the end even though it was his country that essentially killed him.

      @BiblicallyAccurateScapegoat so unrelated... I know people with long covid. There's zero reason for them to have been the target of a device like what's being discussed in the video.
      Furthermore, these devices were around long before the pandemic. You cannot with an honest heart, or maybe it's a failure to understand the science involved, say they're in any way related.

      @BiblicallyAccurateScapegoatbro, explain to me how an overpowered hearing aid would cause long covid?? You’re an idiot. This device targets the brain & autonomic nervous system by oscillating multiple frequencies that target specific parts of the brain that also oscillate a frequency, & thus cause interference & send those signals elsewhere. Where they dont normally go.

      @Mark-gg6iy Month ago

      @alaincharnier1971 All TV interviews are edited according to TV show producers.
      The pertinent question is, did the editing materially change the interview? No, it did not. I think we know why you ignored that.
      Another good example is the BBC's portrayal of Trump's on-record comments at Elipse Park on Jan. 7, 2021. The BBC producers failed to show the world and should have pointed out Trump repeatedly cursing the Metropolitan and Capitol police for disarming people passing through the megatrometers per the relevant laws, and Trump exclaiming, "they're not here to hurt me" per testimony from Republicans in the US Capitol Attach Final Report.
      Who were they there to hurt?
      Why didn't Trump care about that possible political violence?
      Under hypocrisy see Charlie Kirk/Trump/Jan. 7, 2021.
      "Someday Donald Trump will be gone, but your dishonor will remain"- US House Select Committee on the US Capitol Attack Jan. 7, 2021 Co-Chair Rep. (R-WY) Liz Cheney.
      Yes, extortion was paid by CBS, as well as nine major law firms, four universities, another media company, including foregin governments and private businesses. It is a common practice in law and business when investors care more about the bottom line than ethics and morailty and the party power brokers care more about future access and retribution.
      Ethics and morality are to capitalism what Trump University is to education and Donald Trump is to honor and integrity.
      In fact, Trump himself has admitted to intentionally trying to ruin >3,700 Americans by suing them and dragging out the process regardless if his case was just or not.

      At least the frequency range should be disclosed.
      Since it's comparatively weak electromagnetic radiation it shouldn't be too difficult to shield from it. Probably normal aluminium foil would be sufficient.
      BTW, this isn't some occult vodoo but actually quite simple physics.
      Since the basic method, technology and physics of this device and its method is known now, I would strongly suspect that it's actually quite easy to detect and that it's probably even possible to develop countermeasures for this kind of weapon.

      Yes. There's two. Sound cannons and directed microwave bursts. We've all had them for decades. Venezuela, and the info drop of this device by the govt., was the feds telling the world that we not only know- but we've had them too. That we will now be using them against our enemies en masse

    Thanks, 60 Minutes, for this update. As a neuroscientist who teaches neuroanatomy and neurological disease for medical students, I’d like to add here to the credibility of the scientific panel’s conclusion. Even without the discovery of a weapon, the evidence from the cases is consistent with effects of microwave radiation on the brain, spinal cord, and auditory and vestibular system structures inside the skull. And with the effect of microwaves heating cerebrospinal fluid and endolymph fluid. That easily explains auditory hallucinations, vertigo, sudden intense pain and increased intracranial pressure. The only natural neurological event that would be consistent with sudden onset in all these cases is an artery occlusion or bleed, meaning a stroke. But the symptoms do not align with any single artery or stroke syndrome. These cases did not lead to a diagnosis of a stroke. Lastly, if anyone is still at risk of experiencing these attacks, I suggest keeping a forehead thermometer handy, frequently taking your temperature, and re-checking temperature after an attack. That might help document effects that are clearly real and not consistent with natural events.

      This is fascinating- is there anything that can detect these weapons - I wonder how far they have to be from the target in order to successfully hit someone-forgive me for my ignorance this is something very difficult for me to wrap my head around and there is little credible information that is available.

    • @davidlambert1102
      @davidlambert1102 Month ago +42

      @Blondebelle1011 If we have an operational "weapon" we can perform a spectral analysis of the frequencies generated, and a sort of "radar detector" developed for an attack warning and directional indicator. It should not take very long and may already be in existence. Something that may be an accessory in a cell phone in the not too distant future? Scary to think about not having a defense against getting your brain fried! Perhaps a helmet like Magneto's will become standard issue.

      From, the article, this is not a localized heating effect by vibrating water molecules, which is how your home microwave works. Instead this is a highly modulated microwave beam using pulsed frequencies that directly stimulates and interferes with the brain and spinal columns electrical signaling.

      Research has shown it induces concussions and TBI in targets who heard the "cicada" sounds. Your theory might be more well-rounded with more than just the gov't report, and more than this odd edit of the original 2024 CBS report. The best investigative source on this was an investigative journalist podcast called "Havana Syndrome." There are two by that name... It's the one by British reporters, not the NYT one that concludes it's "mass psychogenic illness." Both came out around 2022/2023 IIRC. Def worth listening to their interviews with victims and on the ground reporting, and plenty of experts weighing in. Remember, listen to the one by British reporters... The other one is a cherry picked, opinion piece, waste of time.

    The CIA once came to JFK with a solution to the pesky Cuba problem. They wanted to stage a false flag attack on American citizens, and pin it on Castro. They were going to use a bomb on Americans as an excuse to invade Cuba. That was when JFK decided the CIA had become too dangerous, and he vowed to dismantle the agency. Shortly thereafter, JFK was assassinated, and today there is enough evidence to say it was almost certainly the CIA that did it.
    Never underestimate how powerful and evil the CIA is. Knowing the CIA's history really makes you reconsider events like 9/11.
    PS: This is pretty obviously the weapon that was used during the Venezuela invasion.

      Also, it goes without saying that many of these CIA agents who suffer these conditions have done things which make them enemies of the world. (It’s almost as if the CIA is known for funding death squads, drug running, securing cancer-causing mining deals, and toppling governments around the world.)
      This radio frequency tech might not be their usual thing (something they do), but the CIA has been known to expose people to radioactive material and give them cancer.

      @Chaawuu1 Started in 2017. Read the reports and actual investigative journalist sources not quoting "anonymous government officials." Also, DARPA has this capability, and they wanna act like only an old Soviet Weapon (instead of a the more plausible modern Putin one) uses this exact technology to injure people. DARPA had a YT vid up 14 yrs or so ago demonstrating a "non-lethal" crowd control weapon that uses microwaves to heat the skin of their target(s) til they scream... And will totally not be misused past the 30 second max and actually liquify their organs or anything.
      Biden acknowledged what Trump has been covering up for a solid decade. Wouldn't be surprised if the domestic instances were by Trump admin to try to satanic panic us into war. That was during 1.0, but he underestimated how little we care about some random in DC complaining about far less severe symptoms then those attacked overseas.
      And no, "the cartel" isn't buying this "classified Soviet weapon" like Trump owned CBS (aka Fox "News" 2.0), DHS, DNI Cruela DeVille aka Tulsi Gabbard are implying here, by reusing old CBS interviews and literally re-airing a CBS report from 2024 called "Targeting Americans" (it's here on YT) with some different, and strange, conclusions.

    • @siouxrose7766
      @siouxrose7766 Month ago +3

      @RacingSnails64 --but it is NOT humanity as a whole. These weapons are produced by diabolical minds and often are kept secret. How much input does the average HUMANE and MORAL person have in these decisions?
      Two examples:
      1. Trump does not have a mandate. He has the approval of approximately one-third of U.S. citizens. He violated the Constitution in not discussing his plan for war with congress, real experts, or the American people. Therefore, do you think it is a fair statement to use the collective WE for the actions taken by a felon who violates the law & Constitution on a regular basis?
      2. Princeton University did a study--the Page & Gilens Study--over ten years ago. It proved that the average voter/citizen has less than a 1% chance of seeing his or her wishes put into public policy.
      The U.S. government answers to the top 1-5%. Tech bro billionaires control FAR too much of what passes for "news" and/or public debate; and there appears to be a deliberate strategy to suppress wages so that many families are so busy struggling to pay bills, there is precious little energy available for political action or focusing--with genuine research--on current events.
      In many societies, especially those that are top-down and oriented around strong patriarchal "leaders," power is concentrated at the top... not within the citizenry. Therefore, to blame all persons for the decisions made by dominant baboons is an inaccurate portrait of human beings and alleged "human nature."
      Build a society around ideals, genuine democracy, fair wages, and an interest in the collective betterment and behaviors would alter.
      The U.S. has become a military-theocratic state.

      Exactly. Tell me that the USA didn't have this weapon long ago. Entangling microwave and optical photons is one of the ways to achieve quantum transduction, pulse the microwaves at a specific frequency and use a strong infrared light and there's a zinger. Also using millimeter waves freq as the carrier, triply-resonant cavity electro-optic (EO) system aka HEL High Energy Laser weapon. That can go through walls and bite you pretty good. Wireless communications is it's cousin, imagine that.

      @pauljefferies9087I don't know I just think it's ironic. "These spies are duplicitous." Yes of course the CIA and the KGB are lying. That's their job, pretty much. The trouble with the CIA is that nobody is allowed to know what they do, therefore none of the three branches of government can exercise oversight over it. President Eisenhower created the CIA and he realized that he had made a mistake because of this exact loophole. He realized he had no control over it.

      The issue with your explanation is anything using microwaves would heat the water in the skin. Yes regardless of frequency....
      The thing that interests me is how this weapon is being powered. These reports go back to the late early to mid 90's. For such a small nearly man portable weapon to do something like this is insane. (Man portable as in moved by one person but most likely served by a crew.)
