They have the power to make others think deeply.
Wise people have two rules for the words in their lives.
Rule One…
Wise people pay really close attention to the things they say,
even when they are trying to tell the truth.
They try to be kind and helpful and never be mean with words.
Rule Two…
Wise people take LESS OFFENSE to the words others use.
If someone says something mean to you or about you,
just let it go.
It was mean, but it’s just words, it’s not you.
Wise people control the words they use, and they control the way other peoples words affect them.
Be wise. Use your words well.”
