lol this made me laugh because he brought up wind chimes. I went down a crazy windchimes product research rabbit hole awhile back. I was obsessing over wind chimes and even slowing down while driving to scope out peoples yards and see their windchimes. I never actually sold any but that is just a part of product research. people not familiar with Amazon or online sales always seem confused as to why I am selling a certain item. In their minds they think you invent a product and then bring it to the market and try to create demand… I’m always trying to explain NO, with this business model you analyze the market FIRST then find a product with demand and sell that. So obviously as a kid I didn’t dream about selling cotton hair wraps or magnetic banana holders or whatever else but I did research and landed on some products I could sell and rank for and make a small but respectable profit…. Its a lot more expensive to invent a product and then launch it and then market it to death… if you want to start a business with 5-10k you better come to market with something that already has demand. there are exceptions to everything of course. note: the products I mentioned in my example I made up but that is the type of stuff you end up researching. If some kid reads this and starts doing 60k a month selling magnetic banana holders I’m going to be so salty. I also think Trevin should do some kind of case study where every time he mentions an example product in a video he should wait a month or two and go back and see how many new sellers came to market with the product he mentions… I would not be surprised if at least 10 people try to sell every example he mentions and use the exact supplier he pulls up and every keyword he mentions.
Thanks for the video. I have a question about checking other online sales sites for finding products; how to determine their sales numbers? Since what we like personally may not be what the market really wants.

Good afternoon, there is something that I really do not understand with the amazon listings, if I see a product that the date of creation of the listing according to HELIUM 10 is 1-9-23 for example, that is to say that the listing was created 2 months ago , and I go in the listing to the graph of sales price and sales rank, mark all time and the graph really shows that the sales are from January 2023, I can understand from these two data that the listing of this product has 2 months on Amazon , but when I see the reviews, to my surprise they have reviews from 2022 more than 1 year ago, so I don't understand, because if it says that the listing is 2 months old but it has reviews from more than 1 year ago, I'm confused. How does your products go to Amazon warehouse, like what steps you take? Do you buy from supplier and they store in the warehouse ?

It’s always finish with buying courses or something that we have to spend money.

They could have switched over an old listing to a new one which is violating terms of service!
