These cars are the most underrated in history. The owners of these smirk when driving these knowing they are driving a bulletproof semi race car!
I loved driving it! It always surprised me how it could keep up with much higher hp cars.
They were underrated about 2 years ago but now they’re about 7k+
Prices have gone pretty crazy however if you keep your eyes peeled there’s always good deals going!
A friend in Melbourne just got a manual 6spd euro for 2.5k aud, was listed for 3.5k, little bit scruffy around the edges but good otherwise
bought mine for 3k
Got a type S for a bit over 4k

I picked mine up for about R100k, which is about 8k USD. But interior was perfect, just need to maintenance. Mine had around 148k kilometers on the odometer. I did CAI, exhaust and reflash and it goes pretty damn nice. I might start posting some sound clips and so forth in the future. Still thinking about it. Mine is a 2007 accord type S by the way

What head unit do you recommend for apple carplay?? The Maxspeeding rods head unit looks nice and responsive however I don't like how the driver and passenger A/C controls are on opposite sides, inconvenient for Australian right hand side driving
I didn’t even know maxpeedingrods made one! We made a video on an eBay headunit and it was decent. It also had the controls the wrong way around but with a quick coverup with some permanent marker you can’t tell! As far as headunits go you usually get what you paid for.
I got my own cl9 just last week for 3.5k. It was a great deal for what I got
sometimes grounding electric throttle bodys can improve response times, idk about on these though

i got mine for 10.8k like 6 months ago with all the bolt ons, tune, 50 vtc, coils, rpf1s etc etc in silver... cracka car to have fun with.
They’re awesome cars and with the mods you’ve listed they can be quite surprising too!

Mines done 320k kilometres and only now needing to replace the clutch, more of a precaution really
And with a 6 stacker cd player! couldn't ask for much more

How do you think your manual swapped Dc4 would compare to the Accord Euro on a dig race.
The DC4 has had a vtec conversion and other mods since then and due to the Accord’s wheel spin in first I think it would be a very close race!
Honda used to make such clean looking cars unlike these new cars that look over the top styling.
I just picked up one of these last week, except mine is a CL8 and its factory awd but has the shitty 160hp k20.
Still a great engine.
What reflash did you get? Looking to get my euro done soon.
I believe it was the CHONGDATA reflash. Was a great tune, soft limiter lowered to 3.5k rpm and had great mid-range pull!

Had any issues with reliability/services since reflash?
Just worried if get it, it may ruin reliability Honda's are know for. It's a family car and want to keep least 10 years.

Intake was on the car but looks like a cheapy one, reflash I believe was Chongdata

Hahaha more subie content coming although these cars haul pretty well! If you’ve watched the forester videos this Honda managed to nearly keep up at high rpm which is quite impressive considering the near 100hp difference!
