- "Well, Mister Rambo! you have got a lot of guts to come this far with only one ship!" - "You missed cowboy! My name is Arnold!" Best videogame dialogue ever.
If you think this is bad, wait until see the PC-Engine version of Golden Axe, which was also developed by Telenet Japan. Great intro, cool music, but AWFUL graphics, gameplay, and sound effects. It's one of the worst ports of Golden Axe ever.
IMO, it's too bad you don't get any power-ups. Otherwise, this looks like a fun game-I love the animation and the sound-especially of your big robot walking around!
What I can't figure out is how to turn around... I see you turning around but is that just because you reached the end of the stage? If so that's a major problem with this game. Anyway I prefer stuff like Ranger X on Genesis for my side scrolling mech games..
yep! too bad the quality is nowhere near as good as the Valis series...it is, however up to par with Earnest Evans & Dinoland, and we both know how those two turned out...
Yeah, its not worth playing, but the cutscenes at least are good. After seeing the ending, i notice that it follows some other games i know where the player's character always die in the last battle. So here isn't anywhere different. Quite disappointing that the man dies in his mech cockpit trying to escape...i was hoping an suicidal attempt to defeat the final boss.
It's not until you play this game that you can really appreciate how awful it is, from the nonexistent level design and bullshit difficulty to the awful, awful controls.
I love the music in the game!
18:45 "Danger. This planet is about to explode. Take-off." "What the heck?"
21:44 A haunting end credits track. :)

There's a lot of video game robots out there that did not have action figures or models created, and this is one of them that I like...
finest hour from namco as inspiration
I remember playing this as a kid, the final boss took me a damned long time to figure out.
Holy crap, after that rather cool intro I was not expecting the graphics and gameplay to be such clown shoes.

Double tap
I don't have a turbo duo but I got this game at a thrift store for 5 bucks, is that a good deal?
fuck no...this game sucks.
@@ajsingh4545 Lol yeah played it. Not great.

Lol, I first read "Broning" instead of "Browning". :D
Not quite a platformer, but this one has my vote for worst side-view action game of all time. An absolute embarrassment to gaming
That parallax tho

This game doesn't look or sound bad, but I imagine from the comments that it really doesnt play well.
I can tell just by watching this that this game is horrible. Awesome music, though.
Lovely presentation, plays like an absolute dog.
Typical of Riot/Telenet unfortunately
weird game
