The game support incredibly good Spatial Audio. On PC is well good too! On PC get the dolby access app you can try for two weeks. If you like it get the app from one of the common key stores, it's like 3$. Sounds amazing with 5.1 surround speakers or stereo headhones. Very big recommendation from me.
@@GamingTech-RUclips any stereo headphones work as good as the Sony 3D PULSE. The Tempest 3D Audio is being processed and output by the PS5, not the headphones. ANY stereo headphones will work equally well for 3D audio... I was playing the game on PC with enabled Dolby Atmos Spatial audio instead of the similar Tempest 3D solution of the PS5 and having 5.1 speakers connected with my AV Receiver works incredibly well too. I bought a DENON AV Receiver which supports HDMI 2.1 + VRR + ATMOS so you can connect your console and PC directly to the Receiver and the Receiver will passthrough VRR/Gsync video to your OLED. This works great.

Promise is my favorite ost from every video game ever. I like this one as much as the original. Truly a masterpiece for a game that is also one. Best psychological horror game, imo.
@@GamingTech-RUclips I haven't played the silent hill games before (I'm just 24 and never got back to playing them) but I'm really looking forward to playing this remake. Kind of the same thing with MGS3 but there I played it at least a little bit as a stupid lil goofball.
Great update to the soundtrack and its actually tough to decide which is better. Initially I thought the original was better but hearing the original after listening to this first one, I started to miss the additional changes they made. Both had longing, regret, and pain in the song. This new version added a more triumphant edge to the music, which I didn't like at first but eventually came to like the more I listened to it. I guess I can describe it as the original was Mary's song but new updated one is Maria. Hands down though 4:00 onwards was a great touch.
I have a question regarding the original soundtrack, which is an add-on to the special edition. Is this just an app or something like a playlist, or does it mean the original game's in-game music and menu sounds?
