Thanks wanted to see the heat shrink connection y’all use. Just a side note: After drilling the hole ~0.7” install the rubber grommet then push in the LED for the correct fit.
Typically, the white wire is going to be the ground wire and the black will be the power wire. You can test this by connecting it to a 12V battery and it will only work one way.

I’m wiring led markers to my atv. Is this the same process, white for (ground) & black (hot) I wanna wire them to my headlights

Hey first just shove the rubber grommet in the drilled hole THEN the LED goes second

How many watts is that led?
This LED light has a power draw of 0.07 amps when connected to a 12v system.
