Reason law was not strong until now is for two reason. 1) It had a lot of weaknesses that were not fixed until set 6 and eb01. 2) sakazuki was able to handle it by being able to remove more then one card at a time and was able to play to the weakness.
Thank you for genuinely talking about the problem of trying to play this game at a competitive level. I have been really trying to play this at the pro level and I can't seem to enter into any of it due to how bad the signup is and how they hold these tournaments. The prizing is nice but for those of us genuinely trying to do this at a competitive level it's such a struggle to compete in.
About the scummy situation with that locals story, reminds me of a controversy that went down at my locals that they did OP06 Pre Release and well they have a system where their top/loyal players that go there rack up points where they use them to allow those players to be the only ones to buy OP06 boxes and no one else. Well here’s the controversy, the pre release (and they themselves said that’s how they will continue to do their pre releases) was a constructed event and those players were allowed to use the cards they pulled from their boxes to their decks. A lot of those players are friends with each other so they all managed to essentially build a top format deck while everyone else who didn’t get that opportunity were only given their 6 packs to update their decks with little cards they got. As well as a lot of players didn’t know it would be constructed format since all other locals do sealed format so they had to leave since they didn’t have their decks with them to play. So many players upset that night and just the disadvantage of playing against essentially OP06 decks while still running a OP05 deck is frustrating.
Black finally gets a boss unit and it needs to be ban. Remove that card and black literally becomes trash again. If that is case 10 cost big mom, 10 green doffy need to be banned. hody needs to leader locked.
I wish Bandai would just wake up to the fact people want to play their game and if they insist on every player having an entry pack then Bandai needs to make those unlimited to the TO's. Let everyone play the game.
In regards to the last point, me personally if I beat somebody I want to beat somebody because I was better that day if I beat someone because of the language of a card I can only blame myself for being bad or being unlucky, but a shop trying to make someone call it out is wild it reeks of weak leadership and spinelessness
I agree with most points made in this video but in regards to yellow and triggers, its part of the identity of yellow. Its ingrained in what it does at this point. Leader locking should be utilised more often in design in general, but what I would personally like to see is sets where you get cards in yellow that are designed for a specific archetype and thus leader locked and generic ones that can be utilised that are strong but not overbearingly so. I do admit I have a bit of yellow Bias but, I think thats objectively the best idea moving forward.
did we forget Law and Zoro both competed and won events during op2-4. not arguing that WB wasnt tier 0 and taking up 80%+ of top cut. but it definitely wasnt the only deck winning events.
If you win 80% of the events you’re tier 0, it’s just hyperbole. WB didn’t just win the overwhelming majority of the events, grand finals was a WB mirror. Even in the rare instance he didn’t win, he was in the grand finals. Law took a few events, Zoro took even fewer.
BRUH I WAS TELLING PEOPLE "lowkey I think kalgara gonna be best leader" and people thought i was smokin 😂. As a law player he's definitely not tier 0. Its like kata, its loses to itself 😂
Gecko is broken in the sense he warps deck construction. Every single leader that has access to black builds there entire curve/list around 8c and cards that he can revive, it singlehandedly warps the power of every single character cost 4 or less. Also triggers aren't an issue smh
@@SmallHatCrew Yea yea last week singapore gao top 4 3 rp law final is rp law vs rp law and hiroshima jp cs also top 4 3 rp law and final surprise surpise also rp law vs rp law keke. The ph gao also gonna rp law vs rp law in the final kek
@@kp6137 and Saka just won yesterdays regional, what’s your point? What are you hoping to achieve by cherry picking. You think Gecko is balanced? Is that really what you’re suggesting? If so I don’t value your opinion whatsoever lmao.
Cardfight vanguard has been holding only for years called BRO and have 3 different times for each of there formats. AO(Asia), EU, and US. That way it makes it not as hard on players.
That would be an easy rule to implement “triggers only activate if the card shares a tag with your leader” then slap good triggers on all new cards
Dragon ruler format was so lit lol. Manny a real one for remembering

After hearing your discussion I think the easy solution is to double the capacity for events and give the participation level support to top 50%

If ppl want to see a Tier 0 deck right now then look at Goku in the DBZ Fusion World tcg

To me we replaced sakazuki with law

I think Black Maria is the only real problem with Law, since its makes his effect basically free.
PREACH! Participation should only be given out after completing the 1st day
Hey my comment was mentioned lets go. Just as good as when you guys talked about my friend that ran red uta at nats.

I played 3 nami in a row with my moria an I never felt more frustrated with this game.. it was like watching someone play solitaire for 2hrs basically
I will not tolerate the spiceberg slander. For shame!!
Yugioh dying because they dont get that type of prize support and yall complaining lol spoiled brats
It’s crazy that people that love the game are complaining about not being able to compete in the events for the game they love, you’re right.
All people know that the banning sequence right now is rp law or black maria > moria
I wish oni had trigger play this card. I hate turn 2 do nothing with a passion.

It’s cloth
RP law and moira decks are way above the rest of the leaders....blue doffy is just a weaker rp law and loses bad against BLACK
Lucci best deck Op07 🗣️🗣️🗣️‼️
Poor Gecko :(
I been told you guys Lucci is number 1 I told everyone this month's before hand. Lucci gets even better in op08 too lol

Very well spoken, Trevor needs to start listening to you
The right guy is pure moria hater kek, keep your opinion for 08 black maria and pudding too keke
If the only Moria main at the table is in agreement that Moria is broken then that should tell you something
