Metric system just seems much better for these small amounts of gold. If each country could issue their own version or their artwork but keep the weights universal I truly believe that could bring back the gold standard.
As long as weirdos don't find a way to extract the gold somehow, it might work! It's cool to see the states accepting certain ones, and now there are more options on the market!
Weird how it’s in MG??? Like is that to trick ppl or something? Bc 1000 in goldbacl currency would be an OZ of gold and “1000 MG” also sounds like a large amount but it’s really only 1 gram of gold. Maybe there’s a better reason for it? I hate how you didn’t cover that it was so obvious I was screaming “wtf it’s in milligrams????” at my phone… maybe you should make a part 2 video covering this^
So basically the manufacturing company Valaurum, the people who actually manufacture and produce goldbacks and these metalmark notes with their proprietary technology decided to use the MG weight measurements. Adam Trexler the founder of Valaurum said it was because that's the main measurement system outside the British imperial system and I guess it was to appeal to the rest of the world. Goldback Inc split from that and made their own denomination, the goldback. But metalmark, another company that uses Valaurum's technology, I guess decided to stick to the MG weight measurements. So really it's goldback who's unique in that
They both have gold in them that's priced reasonably for the product it's merged with, considering it's "cash-gold," and there is always going to be a premium. @goldbacker00's explanation below is really enlightening. I thought they used MG just because they like the metric system. Makes little difference to me since I don't buy cash-gold stuff :).

Absolutely beautiful. I wish I could get them in Canada without a crazy premium... High five thanks for sharing
Adam Morton of True Precious Metals is an authorized distributor of Goldbacks in Canada!
Ahh Canada has kooky with some stuff. Did you try their site, mtlmrk.com?
@@StackerFactor That's Metal Mark's website yep!
Check out the kinesis aurums. They too are very nice!
Will do!
The same company that makes MetalMarks makes the Kinesis ones!
I think they're both in different corners of the same space! Goldbacks are for money. Metalmark products are for beautiful stunning art pieces
This is helpful! I'm a cash-gold noob.
Dr Fauci 🤣🤣🤣
Great video, thanks for sharing!
Thank you!
Im looking into them
Nice!
Look into Goldbacks those people actually take.
Very interesting new take on the goldback style of products. Goldbacks have become very popular lately.
I sent you an email
Yep! The more options, the better imo. Hm, I didn't get your e-mail yet.
You lost me at milligrams ciao
Metalmarks are for stacking. Goldbacks are for spending.
This is a great way of thinking! Yes.
Those are great collectibles.
Thanks! They definitely feel premium.
Goldbacks are way better than MetalMark.
I own both :).
MetalMark > Goldback
Older Goldbacks were nice. New ones look like cartoon characters.
Looking great Bro!!
Thank you!

What is this and what's the purpose
It's gold woven into a special bill!
They look great. I like that they have art and designs on the reverse as well as the obverse, unlike Goldbacks
Ah, nice point! I always thought paper gold was derpy, but it's pretty cool hold in your hand.
Y'all sure wasted a lot of money marketing. I get like 5 ads a day from you.
I don't spend anything on marketing or ads.
