I love pinkfloyd, led zeppelin, nirvana alot... but since 1994... weezer turned my point of view to music. They're so unique. They have their own ways to rock. Rivers is so jenius. Their blue and pinkerton are way too deep to be forgotten even a single note. Weezer is always my favorite rock band ever. Sometimes thought, i am their biggest fan. Until now, I still feel shiver in my chest everytime i listen to those beautiful songs. But i'm so sorry if i have to be honest that weezer songs today are not my expectation of 20 years awaiting. But i understand, people changes, Now, i must not be expect rivers writing songs about "feeling fun singing in the garrage" or making emotional song about "falling for an 18 years old girl". This is actually pretty refreshing, I love it
Actually this song grew on me. I used to hate it but now I like it!
Sounds like this song is about old weezer fans who are unable to appreciate the new music they’re putting out
Qview Tv ...Yes!!!
"sounds like this song is about weezer fans who don't like embarassing music"
I mean, if I wanted to listen to twenty one pilots, I'd listen to twenty one pilots, not weezer
My toughts exactly !
Dumbass.
Weezer still being Weezer! Love this band and this song is dope!
Another great song from 21 Pilots!
Sound like 21 pilots 21 pilots is my fav band
Danilo Ferreira another entitlement comment
Spartan Martin weezer is trash tho
see my previous comment.
my thoughts exactly...
Not going to lie - this is my absolute favorite track on this album. So tasty.
This is really good! The mix is great, love the acoustic riff going in the background, the distorted guitar in the chorus and the synthesizer going through the song is great too. Sure it's not the Blue album, wouldn't want that either, the Blue album we already have is great and I fully support Weezer exploring different sounds.
I find this video to be strangely, mesmerizingly beautiful. Just like Rivers.
Its weezer. So ummmm. Yeah ..Its great.
Man i love this track
"Music saved my life" it saved mine too 😢❤
Jesus I love Weezer. They still know how to be relevant after 25+ years.
White album was cool so I figured that black album would be a darker sounding take on the same themes. Apparently I was wrong.
TheJacobShapiro wait until the whole album comes out
White was meh. 'Everything' was the deal.
@@sageantone7291 White was better
@@sageantone7291 Really? Both are great albums, but White didn't really have a bad song on it, while EWBAITE had the uninspired Lonely Girl.
you're not wrong on that you are wrong
My love of weezer, Reggae & zombies makes this song acceptable and amazing 🤘
thinking of putting this on this year's Halloween mix :)
Farmer Pete and I give it a 5-star review. We are happy. We're finishing up all the work from our fall harvest. Now we can have something to look forward to through the upcoming cold winter. We're going to post a couple more Weezer covers on our channel over the winter to keep us busy. SO nice to know the Black Album finally has a release date. We've already got our tix for the Madison WI show. WooHoo!!! =W=
I like the mix of light upbeat music with heavy lyrics. Genius.
You'll love Twenty Øne Pilots then. Check out their music
It just seems like a buch of random nonsense from his spread sheets. If 'zombie bastards' is considered dark -ok...i guess...
People are saying that this song proves the black album won’t be heavy but I feel that it’s just this song that has that heavy aspect in the lyrics and not the music and the majority of the album will have heavy music
Maybe the purple album can be like blue album style. Rivers, if you’re reading this...
Many bands have been doing this for years it's not genius in any way
This video makes me wonder if Rivers went back to school to study physics or chemistry.
Sigh.

@@_threehourshower_ lol exactly
I don't think we are gonna get another Blue or Pinkerton or White Album. It's just Weezer heading to a different direction and it's going good so far so I guess if you are expecting anything that resembles old Weezer, I can see why you are disappointed.
@@owie6726 Yeah, I'm not saying it's bad in the first place, just not what I was expecting... I agree with you though. All bands have to spread out eventually
Weezer has the same crunchy style for 20 years. Everyone says “wish they would switch it up” they come out with a new twist and everyone is crying about how they miss all the distortion. Haha. This song is probably about you;)
Lol and none of these zombies know or see what is being portrayed 😂 thats what makes it great i guess 😅
I feel like the new Black Album for some reason is going to be this optimistic sounding/yet “dark” album, and it’s going to be super unique as it already is.
Pleasantly surprised. Thought it would be WAY edgier than this. Very nice.
I love you Weezer making everything better since I found you.
People complaining about the black album are basically the same as all the people that complained about pinkerton when it came out in the 90s smh
Cool song!
I’d like to see them at Fuji Rock Festival. Come on, please !
フジロックでWeezerが聴きたいです。
Basically a pacific daydream song with better production. I’ll take it
Nice profile pic :D
And a somewhat confusing Venom-esque video.
suck
And better lyrics.
You know what. This is honestly my favorite Weezer song now. I love that it isn't a feel good, or love song in the traditional sense. Its just a song about being against the world and the corruption of conformity, incorporation, influence, consumerism and everything anti punk.
why do I feel like I've heard this song a million times within a million different Songs? :/
Reminds WAY to much of that Beach Boys song!
Ssgt Griggs it sounds like a better, but generic pop rock song.
Rivers voice?
Kinda reminds me of happy hour
It kinda sounds like Feels Like Summer from Pacific Daydream
i play with myself to your videos
Man was saying "I edge to your videos" before it was cool
I like that Rivers’ idea of “dark” is using no-no words and spooky zombies. It’s like third-grade me or something.
These lyrics are amazing, especially the zombie bastards and "blah blah blah"
*internally screaming*
Thanks for another great song. The people who don't like it don't understand Weezer.
Honestly the song isn’t that bad, but just I thought it’d be like CKTH. I have a feeling this album is going to be a very debated album. I’ll take this over pacific daydream tbh
this is underrated
I'm disappointed in myself for not appreciating how great of a song this is back when the album dropped.
Wow!! I love this song, big improvement from Can’t Stop the Hustle; and it’s fun too. Evokes positive feelings from dark clouds and makes you want to do your best no matter what. Reminds me of an older, more mature track off the blue album in an alternate dimension or something. I’m definitely looking forward to what Rivers and the guys have next. Good job 👏 👍
what a fucking amazing track!! not surprised some people didn't like it. Weezer it's ahead of our era, as always
Lol 😂 fools
They are ahead of nothing
They are part of a mass programming of the brain numb
Wake up
This song heals my health and sickness
Ahhh talking about black goo....
I like it! Whether it's rock or pop, Weezer is always Weezer.
Yeah, I can get with this.
*can't
I love pinkfloyd, led zeppelin, nirvana alot... but since 1994... weezer turned my point of view to music. They're so unique. They have their own ways to rock. Rivers is so jenius. Their blue and pinkerton are way too deep to be forgotten even a single note. Weezer is always my favorite rock band ever. Sometimes thought, i am their biggest fan. Until now, I still feel shiver in my chest everytime i listen to those beautiful songs.
But i'm so sorry if i have to be honest that weezer songs today are not my expectation of 20 years awaiting.
But i understand, people changes,
Now, i must not be expect rivers writing songs about "feeling fun singing in the garrage" or making emotional song about "falling for an 18 years old girl".
I know they have tried so hard.
They made the green album, to me it was a water springs on a desert.
I respect their loyalty to music, even though i can't stay listen to this song more than a minute.
=w= rock music forever
is that magnetic slime
Another one who can see!
@@GospelOutsideyou're another one who's paranoid.
And yes fronk4919, it is magnetic slime. I think it's pretty cool.
