Educated Traveler I was there about 3 weeks ago. I was there for 9 days. I was staying in puerto plata but i went to sosua and cabarete hoping to run in to you or Taylor made dream. I will be back after the summer.

Great video... I only watched for 5 mins. Lots of information. I was in Sosua during the Christmas season. We stood in a rental house in a gated community. We also spent time in a mansion in Santiago. We were there for a wedding. We had a cook for several days($25 a day USD). Keep up the good work!

Hey Mr.T, I 've been wacthing your very informative and very clear videos about the D.R.. I was in Sosua last year and did enjoy it.I did get to see that people over there when they don't know you, almost always try to hustle you. One the biggest ripoffs is the taxi trip from the airport to Sosua.

Certainly we are not precisely well or careful driviers, I will not deny you that. But our ways are not as a formula 1 circuit neither. Some persons say that we have the first place on world on accidents. But I had never confirmed this on no place in the net, by example.

All these prices are very high for the native dominicans since you are in the tourist spot. In the big city like santiago and santo Domingo, everything is way cheaper there. Good video!
I would love to see a comparison update between then 2018 and now 2023. And it would be great if you could try to track down some of the same places you were at before.

I've never had the time to take a course, and as my "head-space" is always full, then I set a goal to just learn/retain one new Spanish word per day, and gradually it starts falling into place. Be quick to ask multi lingual Dominicans "how do you say "xxxxxxxx" in Spanish? and then they are very happy to teach you. Brgds Mr.T
