Just saw this now Christian and you've really captured Stochelo on the intro GREAT STUFF!!! The info you gave about about the thinking and imposing waltz phrases are SO essential to the improvisations. You just gave out a major hack. I have been mixing diminished and harmonic minor runs and arpeggios. I've never actually tried to think in a waltz and cant wait to. The melody lines at the beginning are great to learn. I think they're a MUST?
I Love ALL the Stochelo/ Romane versions I've heard. Biréli Lagrène plays great on this tune also.
