Maybe your connection is lost that's why otherwise the stepper motor will not move

Finaly video that helped me. 0 coding knoiwledge. I'm using cnc shield with arduino uno, so I just had to change Stepper small_stepper(stepsPerRevolution, 2,5);
Stepper small_stepper2(stepsPerRevolution, 3,6);
so joystick outputs (I've checked that on cnc to arduino diagram).

I'm using arduino uno with cnc shield and two nema stepper motors, 0 codin knowledge, you can buy a set: arduino, cnc shield, motor drivers and limit switches, code is exactly the same, just have to chenge
Stepper small_stepper(stepsPerRevolution, 2,5);
Stepper small_stepper2(stepsPerRevolution, 3,6);
depending on how you connected the joystick to the cnc shield

Hello thank you for your videos and the effort that goes into them.
I am building an arcade claw machine. I have used your content in the project to control the positioning of the claw with the joystick and have it up and running. I now need to use the internal button that is in the center of the joystick so that when you push down on it, it will activate another motor to act as the crane and lower the claw for a measured distance and raise it up again.
I also have a servo that needs to activate when the motor (crane) reaches the bottom of the command so that it picks up the toy to bring back up.
unfortunately I don't know how to do this and I am super keen to do it.... can you please help me?
