England is a very strong team and jonny bairstow can tear any bowling apart on his day and often against India he plays well. By now jaiswal opening with Rinku Singh lower down the order should have been groomed in our Indian team as we are reaching the semifinals. Somehow relying on kholi who is out of form and also dube in also not well set does not augur well for india. The entire country seems to be talking on this aspect.

Dube at the cost of Rinku was the biggest blunder. Dube is fine for IPL and Chepauk/ Vizag kind of places. He is limited to big hits against spinners in middle overs. No one is realising that Rinku is not limited to big hits, but he steals singles and twos amd rotates strike which is very much required in T20. Also he is someone who can come in at middle overs amd remain till end. Moreover, of Rinku is there, Rinku can bat at 6/7 which will allow Hardik to play at 5 which is more beneficial.

Post 2022 T20 WC, Virat, Rohit, KL, Jadeja were fully out of T20 equation. It looked like a new team with Hardik at the helm and batting led by SKY with guys like Jaiswal and Rinku in the mix was being built.
But injury to Hardik in ODI WC and thereby missing all T20 series post that and post RSA series SKY getting injured, selection committee went to a panic mode and got Hitman back as captain. If Rohit is there, cannot leave out Virat and to avoid all expert and social media backlash. To make things worse the MI fiasco of Hardik brought the selectors and team management to play safe mode. If the team looses let the players and coaching staff face the backlash but not selectors and board. Nobody says this truth.
