Really stinks that the NFS franchise did away w/ the alternating headlights that their older games had. Also….. I noticed that the police cars w/ the push guard mounted on the front bumper, the driver side - side light on the push guard doesn’t flash but flashes on the passenger side
So the game was supposed to have more cop variants and stuff? Man this game and Ghost themselves really did get shafted after all. No wonder that even the night cops feel so barebones, like I’m glad that they incorporated these into the next game; but this just makes me even more sad and disappointed since I really loved this game.
kind of, but part of those were actually modded, like undercover variants. But I see they wanted to add NYPD Vision lightbar, byt decided to stick with the one that was in nfs 2015/payback
@@TailsDollOS I like to think that they were at least experimenting with UC units at some point before scrapping them completely. And there is some secret dialogue in the game from Mercer and Shaw when you get busted sometimes if you haven’t finished the story, suggesting that they were both going to join the pursuit if your heat level was high enough. Ultimately I think it has to do with the fact that the game was rushed, but also because of the spawning limitations that were put in place. (Basically the max amount of cops that you can have after you is 6. sometimes 7 or 8, but that is extremely rare and tends to bug out the game.) But man! I could just picture the carnage and chaos from all the different units coming after you, and if the unite mod is any indication of that then it would’ve been insane.
@@nightwolf9375well, somehow nfs rivals used the same engine and it could allow to spawn various patrol cars from Chargers to Hennessey Venoms. And the fact that there were enforcer and undercover variants for players. Yes, ofc it's a game where cops vs racers was more important thing than tuning. Imho rivals is underrated. Yes, it has problems, but its dark atmosphere and improved police from nfs HP takes the cake.
@@TailsDollOS Yeah honestly I’ve been having so much fun going back to Rivals, it’s the only other nfs game where I actually feel like an outlaw and am actually challenged by the police. To be fair, I think it also has to do with the fact that game is terribly optimized and still somewhat unstable. The vanilla PC port suffers greatly from this, and even though mods have tried to fix performance issues; I’ve heard that it’s still a pain to work on. And since restarting my save on Ps4 pro, I’ve encountered game-breaking errors and bugs that I never experienced and I’ve had the game soft-lock multiple times in the garage and while loading into night races.
If you use Cheat Engine to obtain police cars they will stay as is after you close the game, but online play will be disabled. Different story if you use Frosty Mod Manager
i always wonder why they gave these cars so much detail but make them unplayable

@@nightwolf9375 there may be probably some guides to fix fps issue or something tho. Saw one in Steam reviews
Those cars are so nice wish they would be a buyable car
They should have left the police as a playable mode, the sirens, the cars, every detail, so well done, but they can't be used.
Im still confused on why we get the classic Dodge Charger but not the SRT8 Charger
I wish there was an option to install police lights as bodykit parts.

I'm guessing that without mod they revert to their original cars
